Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Ok, this site is cool! One question? Do I have to manually input the info or can I set my Elite ID and PW and have it pull my data over. If it could automatically pull the info that would be great!

No, it's the only mod on the ship. No other modifications, secondary effects are max fuel +1% and thermal load +5% . See screenshot.



Not too sure what's gone on with that +37.4% Mass, I've been back with my Anaconda to see if it makes any difference from the data I gather in my Asp and it's exactly the same showing min/max for mass as 35% to 14%.



Yes, interestingly for me the data provided by Martuuk for the possible outcomes also states the range to be 14%-35%.

I wonder if for grade A the range can only extend to the negative direction.
As you can see it's a pretty bad roll. I just got another mod and it's also on the very edge of the worst roll possible. It's also an A item.

ArtieI probably found the reason - all blueprint parameters in "Browse all" are related to grade C of any class, as a middle value, so it may have different values for different grades. I will need to change a note in blueprints here, I always thought it shows numbers for grade A here.



Yeah, I saw the "C" listed there, but when I view my pinned blueprint it gives me the same values. So is the pinned blueprint also showing only "C" even when I'm in a ship with "A"?

Is that correct with the Variants section? I thought it was if you roled a 50% to shield boost then it would be 1.5 x whatever your base shield boost was, so in case of 0A it would become 30%. Otherwise wont a 0E with the worst possible role be better in every way then a OA without a role

It should be correct, as it is a multiplier to the base shield booster value, so for example in grade 5 blueprint:
0E: 0.04 * 7.81 = 0.3124 (31.2% total)
0C: 0.12 * 2.79 = 0.3348 (33.5% total)
0A: 0.2 * 1.79 =  0.356 (35.6% total)

In other words, fully upgraded 0A shield booster is still better than fully upgraded 0E shield booster, but the upgrades may take 0E shield booster closer to 0A (in opposite of 4% (0E) and 20% (0A) values for the stock unmodified boosters)

Hello, it's not currently possible, but it's quite fast to fill in your reputation, ranks and credits. The method you mentioned is theoretically possible by using iOS API (at least for some information, but not for example for the total assets, superpower reputations, inventory, etc.), but as you mentioned - it needs your in-game login and password. That's something I really do not want to require from players.

Could you not use a Ticket system like mobile apps and Facebook? It protects the users login and password but allows you to receive there game statistics.

Would it be possible to add the Federal Privateers to the LHS 215 system as a Minor Faction. It is a player started minor faction and we can currently run missions for Federal Privateers in game, but Inara will not let me add us.

I've noticed, sorry I missed the op for a screenshot, that when a mod goes over the specified limitations it's because of secondary effects. Eg: it says your mass will go up for mod X but secondary effect has it improve and the rng bar for mass moves outside the limitation lines. So there are some possible variations outside the expected peramiters. Similarly, secondary effects can alter things it was never expected to touch. I got extra piercing on a lightweight mod for a beam once. I think the range of bonuses outside may be too unpredictable to account for. Perhaps a small disclaimer? Not that I feel that's nessessary

Hello all, and hello Artie!

First of all, want to say that we're loving the site and we're using it to really get organized. We really appreciate the radio player link as well!

This is a request regarding the wing organization:

Is it possible to allow members of higher ranks to fill roles defined for lower ranks? Currently, someone who is ranked Squadron Leader cannot lead a Flight, even though they outrank a Flight Leader. Similarly, the upper tier rank of Operations Officer cannot lead a Flight or Squadron. I've looked through quite a few pages of the thread, but my apologies if this has already been addressed. It would be nice to be able to allow those people to hold a higher rank but still lead a flight or squadron. I understand it may not be possible to execute, though.

Also, a small bug, or perhaps inconsistency in description: The Mission Planner role is said to be 1 per 10 members, but I only have access to three when I should have 14.

Hey there,

so I've been to Baffin Survey in the system Luyten's Star (http://inara.cz/galaxy-station/51345). It has no landing pad, but it is marked with a Large landing pad on inara. Where can I edit this info, I can't find it
