I've been looking for role-playing opportunities within Elite Dangerous since I started playing in earnest and realized just how much within the vast galaxy happens because of player activity and interaction. I really feel like I'm having an effect on the actual state of the simulation, even a small one, when I participate in the BGS, to a degree I've never felt with any other online sim or RPG. This is a far cry from World of Warcraft or STO, let me tell you.

I'm glad I finally started looking around in Inara's discussion area. I look forward to interacting with folks here!

CerriJust start playing Elite this week. I can't believe it took me so long to find this game - it is amazing! Pretty damn complicated though. Thank god for the internet (particularly YouTube!).

I've been playing on the Open mode and I haven't seen a single human player all week. Any recommendations on Wings or groups to join?
