Immersion level 10 would just be me being able to see the commander I created in the game. No matter how hard you try, something you make and something made in the commander creator - different software with different pre-set models will never look exactly the same. Those little discrepancies break the immersion, just like with the picture I've been using as my avatar for Nova Cassidy for so long. No matter how hard I try, I'll never be able to perfectly recreate it.

Luckily, Elite has always been great at immersion. All I really need is a little icon for my commander, and outside the game I'll most likely only ever use the picture I've always used. In my head, that is Nova, and a recreation of the picture will most likely never click with me as well as the mental image I've had for over a year.

Though, to be fair, Daz Studio doesn't take long to learn.


My two cents, as a beneficiary of Nsite's work: guy spends a lot a time making something awesome and brings people not an insignificant amount of joy and wants to rightfully celebrate that fact, your response, Xeknos, is "Oh, that's easy to learn?"

Kind of a jerk move, dude.  But I'm not mad, just gonna fan-girl some more over something I never could have made myself, ever, and be joyful about it.
