Just joined Inara
Although I have been playing Elite since Beta, with a year long break until 2.3, i have struggled to find a group to join and feel that joining a wing or the like would open up new elements of gameplay!
No specific preference in faction!
Anyone with any suggestions? I am in the UK.

Welcome to Inara...
I suggest that you do the following:
1. Head over to the Wing Promotions thread and see if anyone catches your eye.
2. Click on Wing in the menu bar and peruse the various wings and see which one are a good fit.
Being that you are PvE and PvP with a preference towards Bounty Hunting and Exploration there are a multitude of wings which you would easily fit in with. As far as time zone, you will find this being less of an issue with the larger groups as players tend to be spread worldwide.

joined a couple of days ago, been playing for about a year-ish (i think), just getting a taste for the different types of activities. looking to head out and explore the galaxy sometime soon.

I've had a account on Inara for a number of weeks, setting up some of my profile and adjusting this and that. I'm very glad to be here and to join ya'll's community! Besides posting a brief in-character journal a number of days ago, I figured I might as well stop by and introduce myself properly. Anyhow, feel free to add me in-game as I'm on (most) nights exploring or puttering about in the Ghost Orchid.

My in-game character's name is Dasha. She's a bit of a hothead, likes the thrill of the fight and isn't afraid to get herself shot out of the sky if it means landing her bounty (that's my excuse anyway, totally not just because I'm not the best flyer). She's always getting herself into trouble, stepping on the wrong toes, and noising up anyone she thinks she can cash in.
I on the other hand am the complete opposite, I'm a pretty laid back person, and take each day as it comes, and hate confrontation, haha!
Anyway, hope I can get some fun RPing in with you all, and maybe even bump into some of you out in the Haz-Res's of the galaxy
