YggBjornHello! New recruit here! Excited to be here! Probably going to overuse the exclamation point! Am I typing too loud?! I've been playing Elite Dangerous off and on for a little over a year now. It was the first game I purchased for the XbOne. I do have it on PC for my laptop but I've been a console gamer for going on 15 years now. I'm more comfortable with a controller pod than a keyboard, mouse, and flight stick. I prefer bounty hunting but have dabbled in mining, trading, and exploration as well. My main ship is a Vulture. I've got an AspX and a Type-7 for their common roles.

Hoping to find some people to do some COOP with, esp with 2.3 coming.
Also would be nice to be able to access group play for mission stacking.

decided to give ED a try... started getting bored a couple of days ago playing the game alone.... the commercials looked fun.... but I guess it is the type of game you need to be part of a group to enjoy......need people in my own age group to hang with so I decided to join INARA .
I'm 52 on the 29th of March ...I live in Canada I'm from Ottawa..... Canada's capital.... I live in a small town now... called Gananoque it a small tourist town about a hour or so from Ottawa...... I'm on (Eastern Standard Time) .
Been playing sims for about 20 years as well as a lot of other online games over the decades .....I have my own paid for Team Speak Server have had it for about 5 years .
if anyone is interested in grouping up that would be great...
can't really say what I like or dislike to do in ED ..... haven't been on long enough to know.... I do love to explore...i like to dog fight .... I'm pretty much open to anything right now.!

Nice intro post. ED can be a bit of a slog without any interaction at all. If you're playing in Open you could try hailing other commanders you may meet. A lot of them tend not to respond for various reasons, but you're most likely to get a reply whilst in or near a starport.

I'm GunHog the CO of JavelinSOG a multi-game organization that has been around for about 15 years. We stay small intentionally to keep a special operations unit feel to the group. The membership is mostly made up of veterans and other mature gamers (21+ age min). We have been playing ED off and on from the start, howerver, recently we have decided to make a more official presence in the game.
I look forward to meeting my fellow gamers and fleet commanders.
