Silver TafferHello from another ex C64 gamer! Was the "Generation Ship" you mentioned a mission target, stolen from a Military shipyard? If so, I actually found it (or rather it found me!) It didn't register on the radar and was one hell of a fight.

Never had that happen.

Dealt with more than one Thargoid though during the course of the game. I am thinking my weekend project is bringing the C64 and the 1541 Disk Drive out of retirement and give it a whirl to see if my progress is still there.

Hi all, thought I'd take a second to introduce myself and also my next venture. I'm new to INARA but not elite, great site not sure how I got this far without it.

Looking to introduce a bit of lore into the game by starting a wing here on INARA. If your a Fed and would like to see a player made Federation party then check out the "Federal Democratic Naval Arm". I hope the community will come together to create something we can all have a piece of to call our own. That's the dream, a big one but that's the dream.

I just recently joined up with Deep Recon X (can't get enough of just exploring) recently, but that would be a good idea down the road. I feel better knowing that I am not the only "old timer" here.

where can i find it? As mentioned i used to play this when i was a kid on the BBC-Micro when it first came out in 1984...btw did you know that back then we had the Thargoids as well? didn't realise that...it still amazing it was written for 16k RAM

Hello community of Elite and Inara. I am quite new to the game and loving it thus far. I took interest in mining/trading and also playing the BGS by supporting a minor faction. Long/mid term goal would be to create a wing of free pilots to influence a system and eventually create a minor faction.

Thanks a lot Jem! I noticed your writer tag/guild (unsure of correct terminology) and have been reading through some of your stuff, I really like it! I was a RP'r waaaay back in the SWG day's and now that I have time I want to get back into it. I'm currently getting familiar with the site like making a bio, etc...
I have to say this is a great site and I even donated to it so I'll be around once I know what I'm doing lol.

Anyway, first round is on me!
