RavenkinGreetings everyone! Old ED vet from the alpha days. I moved shortly before horizons was released and have not had internet... It has been a long long long 2 years. Hopefully however if things work out I shall be moving and having internet again by the end of the month! So what all is new with mining? Anything new and excited put out? Or is painite still that cash crop?
Welcome back good man, and I myself aren't much into Mining but I do believe Painite is still nice to sell in certain regions. Though there's the competition of the LTD's these days (no, not talking a new space drug like Onionhead, LTD = Low-Temperature Diamonds farmed out of Ice Rings).
There's also a vast new mission board paying for all kinds of mined resources. You'd need to come on and take a look I'd say

Today was Frontier Expo in London, and a whole lot of announcements were made about what's coming up for ED in the next few months. I believe that includes some improvements for mining, so you're in luck.

I have been at the expo today, and mining was announced as an area for new content to improve the experience. Also upgrading exploration, adding new ships (Krait for one

I am Xionwalker and I found this group through the E:D Forums. It looked like the kind of group I've been looking for and I thought I'd give it a try.
I am mostly a casual player and I'm still fairly new to the game. I've been playing a few weeks, but I've still got loads to learn. You may have to bare with me a bit as I've never really gotten into any groups like this.
Generally my favorite thing to do in-game is hunt down wanted ships. I really like the combat aspect of the game, but I'm still at the point where I still want to try all the new things. I haven't gotten a chance to duke it out with any players yet, so I'm still new to PvP as well.
I fly a Viper MKIII, which is probably my favorite ship so far. I'm still figuring out money making methods other than just doing missions and hopefully I can get to a point where I'm able to start buying the extra fancy ships.
I'm looking forward to meeting and playing with you all. ^_^

still pretty new to Inara (couple of months) but love this place...you both made a wise choice to come on over
