I loved the original game back in 1984 when it was called Frontier Elite. When I found out it was on PS4 I was overjoyed. 8¬D
I've built up quite a large shipyard including an engineered 'Conda (for mining), engineered 'Vette battleship, similar setup but better Cutter (nice,). Also have a DBX and Asp (for exploring,) and a Beluga for earning the Big bucks.
Open to multicrew or winging-up most of the time. Gimme a shout.
You'll find me in LFT 1748, it's my base of op's.

I'm looking for a new Wing / Base Station / System to lay my hat and call home.
I play XBOX, am fairly casual and fit game in around a busy life.. looking for friendly casual players to work with and contribute to the Guild.
Ideally want the guild to have at least 7+ active players.
Currently flying a new Python.. which I need (intend) to put a little work into to get up to spec.
Please msg me direct with Guild name, System and Homebase Port if your interested and think you might benefit from a new friendly member.
It's really important to me that the guild is friendly and not rude / obnoxious / and really sniffy about lower spec ships (we all start somewhere).
Fingers crossed for a friendly new Guild

It might help others to know what type of guild you're looking for. Are you leaning towards legal trading, helping to build up a faction? Are you into bounty hunting or mining, or perhaps joining a long range exploration trip? Or are you thinking of a life of crime by becoming a smuggler or pirate?
Whatever you choose, take care out there!

Sure, thanks.
I'm pretty easy - looking for legal stuff. I'm pretty easy going - Just looking to push forward the objectives of what ever Guild I eventually join. I guess helping to build a faction appeals at the moment.
Just looking for a new home with friendly folk also based out of the same port.
See you out there!

I've being playing Elite for a couple of years. I'd played mostly solo until recently when I went on the Enigma expedition to Colonia , that was a whole new experience for me.
Meeting other cmdrs and sharing the experiences after so long just encountering NPC's was a whole new game for me.
So although I;ve signed up for more expeditions I'm really looking forward to joining a player wing / faction.
I'm browsing through the info on here but any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
I play on PC
Hope to meet some of you out there.

A gaming friend at work introduced me to Elite Dangerous. I researched it and decided to give it a try! I used to really enjoy Descent back in the day, with a Thrustmaster joystick. I kept breaking hats back then, luckily Thrustmaster was in Hillsboro OR back then and I could just drive over and get a new hat No longer since they got bought out!
I use two Thrustmaster T.16000 FCS joysticks. I love it! I also I found a really cool wing, G.O.M. Collective, and being an old fart I am enjoying the group. I've played Solo since I started, about 3 weeks? ago. I started with Bounty Hunting in High RES and had a blast, made a few bucks to buy a Viper MKIII, and decked it out for hunting. I got a DBX for exploring / trading, and just got a Dolphin for light passenger work last night with help by being added to a wing that had already finished the work! Now that's how Tom Sawyer whitewashes a fence!
I'm a fan of Heinlein, and his book "Time enough for love", thus the handle Happy Daze. My Diamondback is Dorable, the MKIII is Lazuli, and I have yet to name the other ships yet.
@Ratceaser, if you are a Grumpy Old Man, or can put up with a bunch of GOM feel free to check out the G.O.M. Collective
I'll venture into Open Play after I get a little more confidence.
I got VoiceAttack and am practicing sub-targeting & getting familiar with it. I think it rocks!
This is a great game, the people I've meet are very cool, and the things to do are endless!
See you in the Black
