I'm glad to hear you enjoy ED. It's my favorite game in a long long time.
You are doing well by joining INARA. There is a LOT of information here!

I highly recommend joining a Wing, unless you really prefer playing alone. Wings can help you in all sorts of ways. There is a Sub-forum here where you can peruse the different Wings to find one that suits your style and preferences.
