I just want be sure you all know that just because someone scans you in open play does not mean you are going to be instantly attacked. I have to check to see if the contact is someone I already know. If not than I like to give greeting and a smile. Too often I just start typing a quick salute but you jump out and I have no on to say hi to any more. Stick around a moment and say hi before bolting.

I just want to let you know where you are and maybe recruit you when I see new pilots flying our systems.
But if you fly off I don't even get the chance to let you know it's a safe place.
Even Phisto Sobanii takes some provocation before he will launch on you.

well so I am not new per say, rather I am at a stage where the wider universe is just opening up to me.
I have some pretty good Insights into exploration but on the same hand I am just only starting to really get my feet wet.
my goal would be to meet with like minded explorers.
I need to seek the answers to deeper questions.

You will find that Adam Firethorn is a very accomplished explorer, and he's a really chill guy willing to help and answer questions.

I look forward to seeing what him and other community scientists and xenobiologists have to say.

If you're a loner, don't get space happy! If you start seeing faces in the stars, turn around and head back to the bubble!
If not, check out Squadron Promotions. There are lots of squadrons (used to be Wings) happy to accept a new player. If you are interested, find one that fits your ideology and apply! I did and have / am learning new things every day I play!
My squad is full of (mostly) grumpy old guys who like to chill and play in The Black with a few younger folk who seem to enjoy our company. If you like fighting in CZs, RES, doing Wing Missions together, and just chatting with others I really recommend joining a squadron!
Thanks for checking in, and hope to see you in The Black!
