I'm not completely new to the game but, just like my CMDR who has been a spacer for ten years already and still kind of a rookie, I have a lot to learn. I bought the game last year and since then I was aimlessly flying around, exploring, shooting lasers at absolutely harmless little pirates and ignoring things I didn't want to do (i.e. actually learning how to fight, engineering, asteroids are not real).
I prefer playing alone or with friends (though the only friend that has this game wants to sit on my ship's turrets in multicrew instead of actually playing with me
). Sometimes I go into open to watch other cmdrs flying around. I also enjoy RP a lot. I create dozens and hundreds of npc-s and then I roleplay with myself. I might join RP ingame and here if I have more time for that, I would really love to!I found Inara website long time ago but never used it. Decided to sign up to share my cmdr's little adventures and to keep myself updated on the Rat's situation. I really enjoy reading other logbooks as well.

I did the same for 2 years, just blundered about, but it was a help to me in the end. As for RP, you could not be in a better place than this site. I haven't got directly involved much yet, but have read a lot and the RP on this is site is excellent. Entertaining, engaging, intelligent, and most importantly, inclusive (and welcoming and helpful to newcomers) - I really recommend you keep an eye out and read the RP threads.
Fly safe CMDR, and remember, if you RP alone too much you will go blind :D

It's a really great place and there are several really great logbooks out there. Hope to see you around in the black or in RP once I decide to meander that way myself!
