Been lurking for a couple weeks. Have had ED for about 2 years but only been able to play a tiny bit. Had it on my wish list for about a year before that.
but I have ramped it up the last few weeks. It is incredible and I'm so glad I have this opportunitt to explore the galaxy! Inara and the cash/thrills from mining are what I needed to get into it

Greetings.
I'm joining the E:D world via Oculus Rift. I'm still feeling my way with landings but at least I keep the Station traffic courts well paid. Onward into the black!

Hello Commanders.  Been playing for a while but never understood the engineering part of the game.  This site is really helping me understand  it better.  o7

That’s the great thing about this site, it helps you understand so much, not only the resources but the knowledge base of the community here

This new/newbie/noob/green commander is in his 6th decade of life. So hey what could be more relaxing and entertaining than to try this Elite Dangerous game and go jump around the galaxy looking for tribbles or something?

OMG WTF - My head hurts.

Steep learning curve made more challenging from arterial plaque and maybe decades of over consumption of various liquid spirits (why do they have a bat on the label anyway?)

No worries. Make more neural connections and less excuses. Fire up the FSD and try to not kill yourself.

What would really be helpful is a bindings screen similar to the command editor in Final Cut Pro. Remembering all the keys is, well, hard.

Hey if I ever get out of Solo play be sure to say hello before firing!
