Slowly making my return to the game after 1+ year hiatus. I'm expanding my interests to things such as Inara. Debating as to starting up my own "Academy" based group to educate and help new players feel invited once I achieve certain goals of my own first. I only just barely got my Anaconda before my hiatus and have been spending my time outfitting it and getting a Mamba since I got back.

Its good to see all the new content in the game and its good to be back!

Hi I am new here not sure how Elite Dangerous was made and somehow went right past my radar as a game .. personally the name "elite dangerous" is a bit of an odd choice (i thought it was yet another call of duty copy)

however i have been very pleasantly surprised and in total awe to the scale of the game.

recently got the horisons add on too (only landed on a planet once so far which was really cool)

Welcome to Inara and to Elite: Dangerous, prepare to have your mind blown with the things you don't know yet and enjoy the years it takes learn it all.

Elite was originally Released in 1984. The sequels followed in 1993 and 1995 with the Latest, Elite: Dangerous initiating crowdfunding in 2012 and has developed into the game you are now playing.

It appears you may have been hiding under a rock to have not heard of Elite in your gaming past, depending on your age of course.

Hola CMDR's I'm Khelan, space trucker extraordinaire, I've had ED since it was launched on the ps4 but only really got into playing it in the last month or so. I've played all the games in the series since the original Elite was released on the C64 back in the mid 80's and loved every minute of it.
I usually play in solo and rp as a bored cargo hauler who has more than a couple of screws loose. I've dabbled a bit with combat and exploration but always go back to trading because it's nice and stress free.
