Hey learning this part of inara. If you want to explore come out to the basses in the soul nebula and heart nebula. They are 300ly apart but 7500ly from the bubble. Come out this way I'll point you to 4 systems each with an earth like

I'll head out soon. For me at this time, it's a haul, but I need to get out of the bubble.
EDIT: It is 405 Jumps, maybe 350 with my ASP-Ex. Also jumping in-between Galactic arms. It will be awhile.

Brand new to the game, but have done quite a bit of research/reading before buying. I'm a retired and disabled Marine Corps Officer of 22+ years (Marine Gunner for those who know what that is). I really enjoy immersive complete games; my favorites would have to be Borderlands2, Ghost Recon Wildlands, Red Dead Redemption 2, Sniper Elite 4, and the like. I guess 'complete' more so than immersive, but then one drives the other with little effort. Since my world changed after the Traumatic Brain Injury and my career ended, I can't drive or do the things I once enjoyed in life, but I still read, play XBOX, and build scale model cars. Thankfully, I have a great support structure in my wife and daughters though I'm still a social recluse. I look forward to learning as much as I can from you all, working with those of you where our efforts align, and I'd be happy to do what I can to help anyone where I can.

Welcome, SMEAC!

There's tons of great groups to get involved with on XBOX and if your experience ends up at all like mine you'll find lots of former military play this game.

If you're interested in PvP I'd strongly recommend getting with Newton's Fusiliers.  They're a zany bunch but probably one of the best places to land if you want good, no salt PvP on XBOX.

For more 'we do it all' groups I'd check out Leviathan Scout Regiment.  Whatever is in Elite they've got people that do it.

Inara has its own Discord channel too with more than a few XBOX players there too!

Good day all, been playing this for about 6 months or so. Just got set up with inara, managed to figure out how to get a photo of my character up and the like. I usually stick to things i know well enough, which is surface mining and assassination missions.

Currently running the t10 for the majority of time, but once in a while i will jump back into the chieftain. I am on ps4 servers and more so looking to utilize inara at its fullest to get the 'imersion' that im looking for, for the game that is.

Ahoy CMDRs!

Rogan James here. Been flying for around 3 months now. Fell into bad ways early in my pilot's career. I blame my mentor.

Looking forward to helping you lighten your loads.

Hi all, been playing for about 6 months now all in solo since my first outing around my start system lasted 10 minutes before some nice gent introduced me to the re-buy screen. Recently joined Mobius and finally took the plunge to register here.

Have fun. fly dangerous. 07

Hello Bbf, welcome to Inara.

The starter systems do attract Commanders who seek and destroy newbies. If you prefer to stay in Solo and PG then that's absolutely fine, but please be assured that Open mode is not as full of those "nice gents" as you may have been led to believe. Open is certainly more challenging, but there are tactics you can learn in order to avoid a repeat of that early encounter.

Regardless of which mode you use, the main thing is that you enjoy the game.
