I have been Earth bound too long and have recently found my way off world and into the black...
Lot's to learn and even more to do...getting my space legs now and decided its time to drop in and say howdy...
OOC: Just recently found this game and have taken to it ass over elbows, my newest obsession. I have been an RPG gamer for way longer than I like to put years to and as such took to grinding out the early stages....lots of explo in an adder, then mining and then bounty hunting, and finally some decent engineers and all the guardian tech except for fighters....
trying to learn how to fight thargoids and not doing so well...lol....forgot to sell off like 15,000000.00cr in bounties and about 8 mil in explo data....duh....anyhow going to post some questions in the general forum and a bit of my RP background in the bar.

I come from over a year on EVE a couple years back. The subscription killed it for me over time. Also, piloting a ship from the cockpit is way more gratifying.
I've been at E:D for almost a year. Mostly in Solo and in the black. Training wheels and such. Some rank grind.
What a great game.
I think I'm ready for some Open player faction play, though. It's getting a little lonely out there. So much more to do.
Any suggestions on player factions? GOM Collective is piquing my interest because of my similar age(42)/ethics/play style/flexibility/game-life balance/etc. And The Silverbacks are just killing me with the recruitment adds. Funny as hell.
