Where in CA? I was born in Fountain Valley, grew up in Asia, then came back to Garden Grove near Disneyland and 15 minutes from Knott's Berry Farm.

Navy family...lived in Philippines, Taiwan, been to Hong Kong, Japan. Also lived in Santo Domingo. When I was in the Army went to Korea, C & S America, Africa, Bosnia, most of Europe.

ive made my way to the inara system now but I havent played in open yet..ive joined the teamspeak group but need adding to paladins room as im just a guest.
I hope to see some of you around on the pc version.

As for CA, auntie is in Ventura, Oxnard; uncle is in Union City, on the East Bay; for a short while (year or so), I lived w my then-girlfriend in SF, up in Noe Valley. I kinda miss SF...
I'm in England and have been for a number of years.

I started on Horizon last week so I am still learning the basics.(how to make lot of money
). I discovered this site in the frontier site and looks very promising.I am not sure what do focus on the game yet. So far I play multi and I am just trying every thing I can before I make my mind.

A) I believe you found one of the most, if not the most supportive site, for this or any game, out there. Nothing but support and helpful input. Just a couple days ago a couple of pilots went out of their way to scan a system for me to find a surface outpost. Artie, who owns/maintains the site is about the most responsive administrator out there, as well.
B) You are on the right track, try everything and do what you like. If you make your primary focus about having fun and doing what you enjoy within the game and less about getting the biggest ship or the most money it will help you manage the learning curve and frustrations with some of the mechanics you are bound to experience.

I started playing last week and I am enjoying the game immensely.
I found out about Inara while randomly checking for tools. Rather impressive website and hopefully a gateway for roleplaying.
I found the game to be extremely immersive and I am absolutely loving it.
I'm playing multi and doing some trading, with some bounty hunting on the side to enjoy the dogfighting (at which I suck).
