I'm just getting back into game, been gone since Feb.
Looking for a squad that's preferably a bit laid back and faction established, but not a deal breaker.
I will be in and out of this game and several others. Game ADD? dunno
I do do discord.
I like scotch and I can joke in ways that an SJW may get triggered. If this raises flags for you, I am not your pilot.

Yet another newbie here (or may be not so - played Frontier back in the day on a Commodore 64 lol)!
Been playing Elite Dangerous for 4 days now, grabbed n upgraded an o'l Cobra MK III (feels familiar) + 5Mil in the bank and thinking about wot comes next. As I'm on shore leave today while the update is being sorted, I thought I'd drop in and introduce myself to everyone.

I've been a cmdr for some time now, I know some stuff but I never done anything with anyone else (wings, community goals...).
I'm looking forward to find other commanders to wing up and do missions first then participate in the communtiy better.

Appreciate you pointing new commanders to the Squadron Page. May I suggest also tacking on a link to the Squadron Promotions Page? I love the Silverback's ads; as another "Old Fart" I can relate to the ads
I just landed in GOM first. The Squad is great and being in a Squadron is probably the best thing that happened in this game, at least for me!o7

I totally agree! I was a Solo only Cmdr for 2 years before being tempted to join a wing .... er, squadron.Best decision I ever made, alongside getting a VR rig. The opportunities that a Squadron opens up for gameplay and, even more important, help and advice are game-changing
