I am commander Killerlordx I play on PS4. I am new to the game and to the site. I am basically deep core mining till I get an anaconda and fully fit it out with what I want. Then I plan on working my engineers. In my real life I am married and enjoy video games on the weekend when I am not working. I live in Oregon, USA. That is all I have for now. So see you all in the black commanders.

SuperFrogXWelcome!
I play on PC, but have also an account on PS4 (and will soon have one for XBox One), just for comparison.
Game plays well on gamepad, but HOTAS like Saitek X52 that I use makes completely different experience with this game, as well ability to use EDDiscover, EDEngieers and most important - Voice Attack. I don't even try to fly without my assistant... :D
Welcome CMDR o7,
My primary CMDR is on Xbox, but I have a secondary on PC. Enjoy the game!

i just want to introduce myself real quick!
Im Markus aka. mRK315 and fairly new to Elite: Dangerous. I bought the game when it came out in 2014 but couldnt enjoy it that much at this time.
Right now i got about 500 hours ingame and only the last 100 of those i kind of knew what i did
I started with Mouse and Keyboard, switched to XB1-Controller and since 1 year i got my hands on a Logitech Saitek X56.
Im playing and streaming live on twitch.tv/mrk315 from friday to sunday, most of the time with a few members of the german Elite-Community. Feel free to join in and say hi!!!
Atm i enjoy mining asteroids (painite and void-opals), gathering minerals and crafting with the engineers!
Sry for my bad english im a german
Fly save!!!! o7

I've been playing ED for over a year, on and off, on the PS4. At the time I didn't realise ED wasn't an across platform MMO, which is hugely disappointing becasue it seems the majority of players are playing on PC. In all the time I've been playing ED, I've encountered 2 real-life players (and one of those was from the FuleRats (they saved my arse, awesome bunch of players)).
In hindsight i would probably have chosen the PC route. I'm really happy with my status in-game: got the ship i want (Anaconda - love this ship) and the modules mostly, increased my ranks sufficiently and accumulated enough credits. I know you can transfer your account but it seems you can only transfer your credits and assets not status and modules (i really don't have the time to start all over again).
Exploration and Mining is my game, not interested in combat at all (mostly becasue i'm terrible at it).
Love to seek other players on PS if anyone else is on the same platform.
Currently exploring NGC 7822, at Sector BQ-Y d12..
See you out there!!

Only guessing but it seems PS4 is like flying in Solo. Anyways, fly safe Commander and enjoy ......Make the jump man!

if you have a look at https://inara.cz/galaxy-playerfactions/ you could see the player factions nearest to your system you are in at the moment (right side). If you have a look in the pilot/Squadron roster of these factions, you could sort the last (right) column to see, how many Cmdrs. are using PS4.
e.g. the Player faction "Likedeeler of Michel and Colonia" (a medium-sized faction with approximately 300 members) has about 50 ps4-Commanders, most of them flying in open...and having a lot of fun together, if I read the threads correctly...
Have fun and good luck!

CyberblitzI don't think I have the energy to rank my self up and engineer my module's again. I would also lose all my DLC too.
It is not that hard when you know what you are doing. And it can be more fun, specially since there are many tools that you can use to make it even better experience (EDEngineers, EDDiscover, EDPathfinder, VoiceAttack to mention few) and you can get good HOTAS for not as much money.
At the moment I have Elite installed on both PS4 and XBox, and will soon work on getting one ready for deep space exploration - and nothing else. That means only couple of engineers (FSD for sure) and long time trip.
I still can't believe that they don't allow us to have 2 or more commanders per account. Greedy little bastards...

SmokeLikeIDohello new here but doing well so far anyone wanna help me out and explain squads and powers to me. thx in advance
Squadrons are like guilds.
Power play is a pointless grind. The only redeeming aspect is the crackerjack prize you can get after "pledging" for 4 weeks. My advice. Pledge for 4 weeks, do the required vouchers. Collect your prize and jump out.
