I'm not super new to Elite but only just got started with all the (amazing) infrastructure around it (although I did apparently sign up for Inara a couple months back). Still got sooo much to learn and discover (never even came into contact with anything Guardian or Thargoid related or left the bubble).

Back when I played Elite D, never really got into the 3rd party "tools" as personally the features should be in the game, but since they are still not, I've decided to sign up to Inara & eddb and also get EDMC/EDD up and running to help with my bit.
Good to see you all here and looking forward to the expansion where I will probable clear my save and start from scratch!

(It’s an Ultraman Z joke; you really should watch it, it’s on YouTube, new episodes every Friday; they’re only up every two weeks, though)

I don't see point on restarting the game... but if you think that is good move, sure, we support you.
I would hate to go back to grind everything, from engineers, material to collecting material and data at ancient sites... plus ranking both sides to unlock big ships... - erm, no, thank you.

I know what you both mean, though I've not played for a long time and my current save is very small only a cobra mk3 with a couple of million. I'm not one for mining 250m/h just nice and steady. exploring. Though will depend on how much more I get done by the time the expansion drops.
