Sorry didn't catch your reply in time. There was a Halloween thargy thang going down with ghost ships and all.  Not sure what came of it in the end...

Nar, selling ya fully kitted and engineered Asp X instead of transfering it to the station your leaving from for an expedition is worse.

Ya do it once and then you're really careful for months (so far) after.
It's not the end of the world, it's just a pain in the bum having to rebuild and engineer your ship again.

I recommend keeping a copy of your ship's builds if ya happy with them somewhere in case you have to make another one.
Glad I keep a record of my ships.

I have heard horror stories of CMDRs doing just that ... but I have also heard happy stories when they get FDEV customer support involved. Although I haven't had to do it myself, I have read that they are usually able to help restore things in that situation. I imagine being polite helps.

hello everyone im 3 days old to this game
I currently been doing assassinations and bounty hunting with my viper mk3 but I am interested in exploring as well.

the biggest issue for my ship right now is that i cant jump 15k distances? The maximum jump is just 6k and i don't even have a cargo section so idk why but i think its probably my fuel tank or fsd ?

also can i do both of this bounty hunting & exploring with the imperial eagle?

you will need a bigger ship, the Asp Explorer is a decent combat and exploring ship to use

A little of column A, little of B. The better the FSD, the longer jumps you can take. Get a scoop to get fule as you fly and don't be in a hurry to know it all.

It's early days for you, earn some cash and try out some ships. People will gladly give you lots of advice, but take it slow and absorb the game for ya self.

Welcome Caedwyn and o7 CMDR. Repeat what the Creamster just said. Take your time, try some stuff, ask questions. We all started somewhere and every day is a school day, even for the Elite. The game has a long learn, so sit back and enjoy the ride.

Welcome commander,

When you go exploring, it is wise to have a fuel scoop. Without it you're exploration will not be outside your back garden..

Also, take a SRV with you. Exploring planets and moons is fun and also you can gather engineering materials from the surface.
