Hey guys, I just got accepted today and wanted to introduce myself. I'm not sure how in depth the into posts are supposed to be so I'll keep it simple for now, I'm an 18 year old kid who's about to go to college in Alabama with the hopes of being a surgeon. I've been playing Elite on and off again for the better part of a year but I'd never been in a community like this for it before, so I'm really looking forward to playing with you guys soon!

Hello people. New to INARA but not really to ED. Have been out exploring the galaxy pretty much since I got the game. Absolutely love it and am starting to get my feet wet in the community aspect of it. Just from the bits and pieces I have seen here from the short RP stories and the general atmosphere I think I have been doing myself a disservice. Glad to see that there is some decent folks out there and looking forward to learning more about ED from you guys.

Hello folks, Rummie here. Still new to ED but having a ton of fun.

There is however one small problem, nothing important, just a minor irritation really. I mean seriously whats not to like about the game. Piracy.. check. Smuggling .. check. Combat .. check. A whole galaxy to explore.. check. Rum..???!!!! frantic searching.... blast no rum in the whole bloody game.

Rum is the easy part if you're of age with a clear schedule! Eye patches, however, aren't as readily found as they used to be...

I hope this is the correct way of doing this? I am completely useless at putting stuff on Forums! Been on ED for 12 months now, grinding away and learning the basics and....STILL to go into Open Play. I wanted to 'get the hang of it first'. I'm a 52 year old Clinical Nurse Specalist in Stroke, a Liverpudlian (Red through and through), and THIS week I'm going into Open! Vulture is looking good and I suppose you gotta play with the Big Boys sometime - see you out in the Dark Commanders!
