Owners of Inara? Ask for Artie on Discord, or PM him I presume

Hey y'all.
Looking forward to using this Inara thing, I've never given the time nor place..
But I hear there's reasonably good roleplay and friendly people here!
Everyone in the chat all seem to be thanking this Artie guy too for creating the site or something, so I'll chime in with the crowd and cheer his name: thanks Artie! You're totally the bestest, awesomest, coolest dude- I'll stop brown nosing haha.
I'll come back tomorrow and create a more formal introduction, as unfortunately it's 2:35 morning my time, and I am very tired.

Let me know if there are any popular roleplaying, combat orientated groups that I should consider joining tomorrow morning!

Hello commanders. I have ever been part of the group for a few weeks and this is the first time I have been able to take a good look at the boards. I'm still fairly knew at this game. My goal is to be able to get myself into an anaconda and so far I am making strides to that thanks to mining. Combat skills aren't that great which is sad sense I recently bought a python. But it makes for a good mining ship lol.

Hello gang!

CMDR TickleStick here. I am Squadron leader for the USA combat wing of Black Sails Sq.69., known as D.I.E, or The Deadly Intergalactic Elite. We have players from around the world, and host our own web page, FB page, and have a Mumble voice server.

Black Sails Sq.69 is a minor faction in the game, and allied with the Federation. We are in 2 systems, and looks like we are in expansion to a third. Hopefully will be taking over the whole galaxy at some point, but I digress...:P

We are looking for players of all levels that like to have fun in ED. We love helping new players advance in game. So, if your looking for a group of scaly wags that love this game, please feel free to contact me. Or check us out here on INARA. Only requirement is, you must love rum....or at least stealing it...lol

Eh, I figure I do this thing here, be nice an all. Name's Simon Krennal, I'm an freelance long hauler from Tau Ceti, though I mainly do salvaging at this point, hey they aren't taking it with them right? I just swoop in, snake up the good stuff, and I'm gone like ghost. Life of a freelancer, am I right?

Hello everyone. My name is Commander Cordulisk. I am both new to the wing and to the game. I am interested in exploring all types of gameplay. Currently I have been running Boom trading missions, and I have acquired a Cobra MKIII. I will do this for a short while longer, but I plan on trying my luck at mining in the very near future. Unfortunately, I do not have Horizons yet, so I cannot land on planets, but I was wondering if the best way for me to mine at the moment would be in pristine metallic rings around planets. I have watched some videos, and this seems to be pretty worthwhile if you have the right loadout.

Additionally, I was wondering if anyone knows if this website can link to my Xbox Live account and pull data. I have played other games where websites like this one pulled all of my stats directly from the game and was always current and accurate. It appears that on this website one must continously update their information. This seems a little time-consuming to me. Is this the case, or am I missing something?

At any rate, I am happy to be part of a friendly community of players. This game is enthralling, and I'm loving it so far. Please let me know if I can be of any assistance, and I will see you all in the black.

Cordulisk

Welcome CMDR. Good luck with the mining. I am sure you will find lots of info regarding mining and just about any aspect of the game on here, in here and by asking other players. Pristine metallic rings around blue planets will yield the highest rewards, chose wisely as other dastardly players prey on the new. I would also suggest you use Professor Google 'Elite and your content' will provide you with invaluable information that will save you months of toil to enhance your game play progress.

Stay frosty and see you in the Black.

I honestly don't know why I didn't find this sooner.

I'm Iaened Bourne, and I've been playing E:D on and off since the Beta days. Still got several Twitch videos of me earning the Anaconda with a Plasma Accelerator, back in the days where everything was a lot lot cheaper!

I'm 21, from the UK, and do like to make credits in, preferably, legal ways. Mining is a very honest profession that I'd like to do with some others at some point, when I have appropriate ship/s and credits.

I'm coming back in to play more now, and have set up my own wing to show my support of HIH Princess Aisling. I'm also and org leader over at Star Citizen (*gasp* Heresy!), and so I've already got a website and TS set up for that, and I've recently created a new sub-domain for the Aisling Duval Foundation. If you want to join up, shoot me a message, though I'm not really out to get members it is always nice to fly with someone similar - got a few friends that play occasionally, but aren't on here.

I've also put an AD Foundation minor faction request in to Frontier, but I don't know how long they are going to take with that.

I'm currently continuing my grind of the Empire ranks so that I can get the Imperial Cutter (only got a couple more ranks to go). After that, I'll be doing either Power Play and/or stuff for my minor faction or my new friends over at Angeli Imperial - whichever comes first. If anyone wants to join me in that endeavour, and earn some nice credits whilst you're at it, just let me know: safety in numbers and all that.

And that's me. I'll see you out there!

EDIT:
If anyone wants to help me build a nice website for the AD Foundation, do let me know. There's only so much I can do whilst flying!

Name's Tod Silhouette Banks via PC, but please, call me Nick.
Tod is my grandfather's name while Banks is my baby brother.
The "Silhouette" part will come later, after I've figured out what to do with my character in game (I bought the game about a month ago).

My typical hours are Monday-Wednesday 9-12pm, whatever the Los Angeles time zone is.

If anybody's interested in playing le me know!

Los Angeles would be Pacific time, or GMT -8 I believe. Are you on the PC, or X-box or both?
