The Frontier forum is a 'hive of activity' over that announcement thread.
Plenty of salt being generated, particularly (and unsurprisingly) from console players.

I have both PC & PS4 so can see both sides of the story.

As a console player I really don't give a fuck about it. The years have been going by quickly for me, so it might as well feel like tomorrow.

As a console player. I'm used to late releases. If anything it gives them time to work out the bugs.

ED released December 2014. Then released on consoles in June of 2015.
