Watched all three episodes. Interesting. The work is commendable.
There are a couple of non-critical ideas.
1. this is not a mini-series but a micro-series, in my opinion ))
2. The pauses are stretched out a little bit, just a little 2-3 seconds more than I would like.
3. it would probably be a good idea to use some kind of cinematic post-processing effect to make it look more cinematic.

But even without all that, I want to say thank you, great start and video ))))

I really enjoyed watching these. I feel it captures the atmosphere of elite/space travel in a way that is sometimes missed. Keep up the good work!

Aura MysticHey! So for last month I have been working on an ED mini series. There are 3 episodes in total and yesterday I premiered the first one (Uploading one every day). I am only an intermediate at editing and the purpose of this series was to see what I could do with my new editing software.

Well done! Good job on the sound design and choice of music.

Minor suggestion: To make text (e.g. "Oxygen depletes in...") more cinematic, make it smaller, add a very subtle glow effect and, in this particular example, use a font that resembles the one used in the ship's UI. In short, make it appear the same way the pilot would see it in a dark cockpit in deep space.

Personally, I use the Frontier launcher to get into the verse, but either in steam epic or just plain vanilla front door entry, I always use the PRTSCN button, then paste it into my art package then I can lose the edge bits in an edit and create the pic I want to save. Not all screen shots are perfect, but this goes to making them as good as I want.

Re. Logbooks here on Inara...

If I make a few and backdate them to ie. 3305 in time of publishing, will they appear here on the front page anyway, or immediately vanish and be put far behind, where they belong according to the date?

I'd like to put some older stuff, but wouldn't want to clog Inara's front page with obsolete stories.

Speaking of older times... Can I edit my older entries (cosmetically - doing design stuff, correcting language mistakes, etc, nothing that will hamper the original text) without fear of losing them or smth like receiving a permanent "edited" mark with older version clearly visible, as it happens on some other forums?

Yes, it's safe to edit. Logbooks are always exactly as edited, no additional text like edit marks, notes, etc. is put there. It's not considered as a discussion post where it makes sense to mark it that way.

What about log entry titles? Are they able to be edited also?

I ask as when I tried, it seemed that all I could do was to delete that entire entry.
