WarCat72If I could have the air ride chair out of a modern John Deere tractor cab as an office chair I would buy it. Those things are sinfully comfortable.

So why don't buy it as a 'spare part' and then combine with parts that make it an 'office chair' in a DIY way or order someone who know how to do it for money?

Hopefully its alright to post these here.... FWIW the station I'm next to - Quimby Port - is selling each of these items at 15,000 per T less than my buy price. An easy way to make some quick credits... ;-)

Because the seat alone is $1,300 for aftermarket and $1,600 from the dealership. That doesn't include the air kit or figuring out how to power it, or figuring out how to put all of it on a swiveling platform with wheels. If I had that kind of money to blow on a computer chair I wouldn't need a job, which I do.

Synthya Wylder, I recently bought the Secretlabs Titan chair (adjustable lumber built in) took just 4 days for delivery from ordering and have used Monstertech to outfit for Hotas & Joystick, keyboard and mouse (Chair Mounts and Table Mounts). Perfect. Good price and used D2EA's link to give a small boost to Astro's Youtube Channel. It's a wonderful chair and I use it for work and gaming. Thoroughly recommend the Titan from Secretlabs.

Take out seat from car. Its comfortable too and if you dont have big family you dont need it.

Hello,

Not sure if i post this in the correct thread but i would like some help with a question.

I was thinking about asking frontier for a name change on my cmdr, would that somehow screw up my Inara profile?

As far as I know, it should not.

I know of a few Commanders that have changed their names, and they did not lose anything from Inara.

If I understand this correctly, Inara identifies commanders by their Frontier IDs, so name changes shouldn't matter.
