Has anyone found a Guardian Beacon near Trapezium Sector YU-X c1-2? The Guardian site there doesn't take the local relics, so I'm guessing it needs one from a Guardian Beacon.

Can anyone explain how you insert an image into an Inara logbook?

I've done it before the new gallery style was implemented but it seems to not work the same now. I'm sure in the past I uploaded my image to the Inara gallery, copied the image URL from my browser address bar and pasted it between the image tags in the logbook entry.

When I do that now the image shows as a broken image link when I preview the logbook entry.

What am I doing wrong?

It has to be PNG or JPG and less than 7 Mb.

Thanks, but no. I'm using a jpg and it's less than 1MB.

Here is what appears in the EDIT ENTRY screen of the LOGBOOK

[imge]https://inara.cz/gallery-image/160832.jpg[/imge] (I've added the 'e' into the code so it doesn't think I'm inserting an image)

Is this wrong?

I get the same when I try to insert an image in this forum......

Please open any gallery image, then right click on the image and there is an browser built-in option "Copy image address", it will put a direct link of the image file into the clipboard and you can then directly use it as an image link for your logbooks.

Edit: As I am thinking about it, maybe I should put some automatic conversion from the regular links there, too. To make life easier.

I've been trying to find one single Odyssey image from INARA's Gallery which could be at least good, and can't.

Odyssey screenshots are simply the worst. Dark, ugly, low res, terrible colors... Wtf...

There are many great shots from Odyssey, head into the "Popular" section for example, to find some. The beauty of photos/screenshots is to a large extent in the hands of its author, not the game (in other words, there is possible to take very ugly screenshots in Horizons, too).

I just realized that Elite: Dangerous Odyssey content seems to exist already in the game, because the Galaxy Map in Market filter refers to the markets that weren't there before.

I hope the route plotter won't send me past the point of no return. In theory, any scoopable star that is possible to reach without neutrons should be possible to return from. But I've had cases where I logged out with a route of N jumps plotted, and when I logged in again, reaching the same target suddenly required N + X jumps, a few more than before, despite all parameters being the same.

But then again, if the trip was perfectly safe, there would be no point in taking it, right?
