CP77 drama intensifies.

I hope CDPR learns the lesson and stops wasting time on console ports. The idea that a game like this could run smoothly on 2013 hardware is just bonkers.

Synthya WylderUnless I'm already familiar with a game, I'll generally wait for others to risk taking the plunge & hearing their reviews.

I've played CP for 90 hours now and haven't seen any of the massive glitches shown on YouTube. In fact I'd say the game is more solid at this point than e.g. a fully patched Fallout 4.

My hardware is far from exceptional. In fact the exceptional setups are usually the source of problems. I've seen people complain on CDPR's forum because they had to slow down their overclocked CPUs/GPUs to make the game run stable. Well, it's called OVERclocking for a reason!

My PC specs: i5-6500 @ 3.2GHz, 16 GB RAM, GTX 1070 8 GB, no SSD. I play the game at 1080p with Ultra settings, and it has been smooth sailing so far. No crashes, no game-breaking bugs, rarely a glitch. My only complaint was about the default key mapping that favors right-handed players and as of now can't be changed without editing an XML file (specifically the fixed assignment of the F and C keys, which I have now mapped to Numpad-Enter and Numpad-Period respectively).

CDPR deserves criticism regarding the way they handled the console versions. They should have just canceled the PS4 and XB ports when it was obvious they wouldn't work. CDPR doesn't need Sony and Microsoft to sell games, but Sony and Microsoft need developers like CDPR to sell consoles. Content creators need to wake up to the fact that they're at the top rather than the bottom of the industry food chain.

Also, most games I play I play female characters. I'm sure it a placebo, but female characters in FPS games have smaller profiles. Some might say, even small hit boxes. In EANHL, you can play as female hockey players. The advantage of this is that female players aren't allowed to fight so you can freely hit viciously without being pulled into a fighting mechanic that's part of the game for male hockey player avatars.
