Cephaloslet me explain to you something...you are all my entertainment. I give you one tiny piece of hate and you all consume it like its goddamn heroin, you crave it.
Oh, the hypocrisy...

XeknosAmata LireinWell then, back to the Cyberpunk-discussion...
Judging by the "Rule-34-O-Meter" (aka "Which romance option gets the most fanart?") the most favourite romance option is Judy Alvarez...

...and I agree. She's a real cutie
Judy is adorable and by far the best romantic option.
... Though part of me does wish Panam was romanceable by a female V. Rawr.
Oh, my V also wants Panam out of her clothes... so she can snatch them for herself...

That's something I dislike about this game. Fallout 4 for example was quite different: Pretty much every piece of clothing you saw on NPCs was also available to yourself. CP77 feels almost like there was a separate art department for designing the NPCs, so the clothes are not interchangeable.

Yeah, it's also the one major criticism I have. There's a lot of awesome clothing items on NPCs that I would love my V to have (like those black thigh-high boots with red hollow wedge heels some of the female Tyger Claws wear).

When I heard that CDPR was planning to do them in 1st person as well I had serious doubts that they could make them work as the very concept alone (1st person love scenes?!?) just sounded somewhat awkward to me. I am so glad that CDPR proved me wrong here. Especially the love scene with Judy... yeah, you felt the lust between Judy and V(alerie), but most importantly: You felt the genuine LOVE between those two individuals whom Night City had hurt soooo much...
CDPR certainly raised the bar on how to do romance scenes in games to a whole new level, and IMO from here on out every game that has romances in it will have to be measured by this new standard set by Cyberpunk.
(And yes, I'm going to fight you over this!)

I haven't played Cyberpunk yet... are you saying the love scenes are handled more emotionally and tastefully than 7 Sins did back in 2005? So far, that's been my benchmark.

At least IMO. To be fair I only played the Judy-romance so far, but it's done very well. If you don't mind spoilers you can find the four romance option playthroughs on YouTube.
They are River Ward, a NCPD officer, and Judy Alvarez, a Braindance-Tuner for female V and Panam Palmer, a Nomad from the Aldecaldo-Clan, and Kerry Eurodyne, a rockstar and former friend of Johnny Silverhand, for male V.
As optional encounters there are 4 "joytoys" (two per gender and priceclass) as well as Meredith Stout, a Militech corpo, who is available for a kinky one-night-stand (if you play your cards right) for all Vs.
