Amata LireinOn a sidenote: Who of you have ever heard of "Kennedy Steve"? And wouldn't it be kinda awesome to have him as a traffic controller voice for a spacestation (best one to use would be Jameson Memorial for exposure reasons)?


Imagine him calling you 15 times while you are on the pad.

"About time you respond, cleared through the mail slot, watch for the Gutamaya on autodock approach"

Ugh, actual traffic control would be such an improvement over what we have now.

Request clearance 7.50000000001km away from the station? Dead on entry
Sit too long on the pad you still have 3min time to exit from? Also dead.
Severely damaged with no way to call mayday, and your thrusters cut out on approach? Believe it or not, dead.

ED has the best most littered with ship debris docking stations ever designed. Because of dead.

It was in my 'how to buy a T-10' memoires... "What pad loitering?!? Can't you see, I'm struggling to nudge her!" Perhaps flying into a station without permission on something slow like D-graded unengineered T-10 is a conceptual suicide option.

I can't wait until EDO full release when they finally implement the 'stand too long at the elevators is also loitering'. Bartenders with itchy trigger fingers if you don't walk away with your drink fast enough... the possibilities are endless.
