LMAO. We'll all be replaced by AI sooner or later, M. In games as well as more serious human endeavors. The code I write is classified, but sometimes I wish I could see how AI would write it. I've seen it code smaller, more general programs. We've also hired and have been hiring AI focused developers.

Skynet is only a matter of time.

In the absence of games working for me, I’ve started putting together my Christmas gift(a bit late, but better than never).



This is stage 2/6 of construction complete. Will do 3… probably tonight as well, then the rest later, possibly tomorrow. May also provide a picture when it’s done… on Thursday maybe, or when I have proper daylight to work with.

I'm so old I remember when all Legos were various brick shapes. If you were lucky, you had wheels for the axel brick so you could build a brick-shaped car.

If we wanted a sphere, we had to build it using the Lego 8-bit 3d technology of the time.

I played with some of those during my childhood, too. (‘98 born, so it was early 2000s for me)

What I cannot remember is whether I ever stepped on one of those Lego bricks. Hopefully, I didn’t.

What I do remember stepping on - and I don’t know what it was doing in my bedroom, or on the floor/carpet - is one of those pointy wall pinners that I cannot remember the English name of.

I think the worse thing I ever accidentally stepped on, other than a rattle snake, was a very pointy D4.
