Aleksander MajjamI just want to say I haven't played it yet. I'm waiting until 1 or 2 more patches release before I jump in.

I'd refund the Xbox version and get the PC version instead.

I don't have the latest and greatest gaming rig, but CP77 is running here without any issues. And I'm having a blast playing it, because it's like Neuromancer, Ghost in the Shell, Snow Crash, and Deus Ex, all rolled into one. Besides, some parts of Night City remind me of Taipei, one of my favorite places.

All around the internet I keep seeing people use V for their CP77 character, and I'm assuming that's the name of the protagonist, but I can't stop seeing V for vagina.

I assure you, this cannot be helped and I do feel shame.

@Wyn - NP.

@Saka - Taipei has been on my list to visit for a long time. I've been to a lot of places in the world, but there are several that have been just out of my reach. Cyberpunk not just as a game, but as a genre has been rooted in Asian culture, so I can absolutely see why CP77 reminds of you such (GiTS has got to be the motherload of the genre). I have been RPing the CP genre with a friend for years and can't wait to jump into this one finally as a game, but need just a little bit more stability. Consoles are still a great place to play the game as long as you have next-gen rigs. I don't want to waste CP77 on my 1070, lol.

Seriously, Sakaness.. If you're using a 1070 for CP77 then you're having some major diminished returns.

Anything less than an RTX 2080 then you might as well be playing on an OG Xbox and PS4.

I recently had to upgrade from my ancient twin graphics cards to the MSI GTX 1050Ti Gaming X card.

I'd have gone better except I'd have been hanging the proverbial silver bell on the sow's neck, with my equally ancient motherboard.

Replacing that would mean essentially, building a whole new machine. The new card works great, no regrets with anything I'm currently doing, E:D included.

Combining very old parts with very new parts tends to work like shit anyways, due to incompatible chipsets, non-supported features and other fun things.

If you want raytracing at 4K resolution and acceptable frame rates, RTX 3090 is your only option. Even a 3080 will drop below 60fps.

I'm on the fence about waiting for a 3080 TI. However, an upgrade to a 3080 is what I'm shooting for. This will only be used for simming mostly. Maybe some GTA. Right now with the Rift S, 40-50 FPS in DCS is the benchmark for VR. Terrible, but it is what it is.
