Random notice of the day/night : I still hate summer heat. Coupled with bad sleep, it is not very fun.

Just had to get that one out since it’s the main reason I’m awake right now.

Bad sleep sucks. Was unable to sleep properly through last night, crashed on the bed after the lunch break (remote job benefits lol), dozed off only to be bitten in the arse by the same stuff and unable to get up due to the fatigue, and had to work just until recently to get all the stuff done. Going to hate myself at morning (more than I usually do lol).

I am lucky in that I can sleep in the most any heat as long as I have air flow. A fan, a breeze, whatever. It is sweating while sleeping that robs me of sleep.

My favorite benefit is not having to pretend I am paying attention in BS meetings that accomplish nothing. No one uses video, so most everyone is either in their underwear, or doing actual work rather than looking at useless power point presentations about crap we already know.

I’d have the fan running but I cannot sleep with any kind of noise around, even very slight stuff. So it has to be off for the night. Thank overly sensitive hearing (by human standards).

It’ll probably get better once I’m used to the heat a little more but I really prefer spring and fall to the other two seasons.

Having a consistent sleep rhythm would also help but shh.

I need heat. All the heat. Still using a space heater sometimes since the rain is making it cool here.

MOAR HEAT.

Should I give that game a second chance? Lol

Unlike launch, it seems like some or most of the egregious issues have been fixed.

Whether the DLC will launch in a state or not, well, to be determined… depends on whether lessons were learned or not. Considering that they recently stated that Cyberpunk’s launch was not “as bad as players made it out”, I’m not entirely convinced. But time will tell.

I'm still... unsure. There are some game design moments that I don't like. A bit of a spoiler: weapons are on that list too, lol.

Also, stabbing a roof of a car with a knife can make the car explode in this game. Immersive!

Weapons? Let me guess, it might have something to do with the magic curving bullets that perfectly track the target?

And the cars blowing up when they’re not hit with something that’s supposed to make them explode is a bit eh, but I wouldn’t find that too bothersome. But different tolerances for different people.

At least it takes a knife. ED ships could be destroyed by punching the landing gear with fists.
