Aleksander MajjamOMG. You sweet summer child.

Have you not played the likes of FO3? FO:NV? Skyrim? Morrowind?????

I did play Skyrim (the remastered edition), but never completed it. It's a beautiful game, I love the music too, but I'm not really into fantasy as a genre. I didn't complete Witcher 3 for the same reasons.

I played Fallout 3 all the way through the main quest line, but only once. To me it felt like an early prototype of FO4, a diamond in the rough. FO4 on the other hand I played multiple times, and even now I sometimes feel an itch to "return home" to its wasteland. If Bethesda had decided to keep producing full-size DLCs for it (such as Far Harbor), I would probably buy them all. But now they've lost me as a customer.

I started playing Fallout New Vegas but got bored. Not sure why.

Right now I'm hyped for Cyberpunk 2077. I love Blade Runner and Ghost in the Shell (the 1995 movie), so this game should be right up my alley.

Aleksander MajjamTo the hardcore, FO4 was the most hated for vets of the series. Not sure why. I quite enjoyed it. Didn't care much of the settlement whining and building, but overall, a decent FO game.

I like how settlement building made the game open-ended. You could ignore it entirely and focus on quests, you could ignore the quests and do settlements only, or any combination of both. You could even choose to stay in Sanctuary Hills and try to survive there as long as possible. It was like two games rolled into one.

FO3 was great, NV I HATED with a passion as it kinda forced you to go a certain way to get to Vegas by multiple means, making it feel almost linear compared to FO3. FO4 was the best. It was so much fun to build up and expand your settlements, then place those nice artillery pieces all over the place and then use those to blow up that f'n eyesore of a blimp after putting the biggest pothole into Cambridge...

There's a simple trick that helps against that: Turn off the speaker in the Castle, never tune in to Radio Freedom and don't turn in the previous quest at Preston. It will eventually autocomplete if you wait long enough after you did whatever the settlers wanted from you. Problem solved.

It's funny how all the factions kept issuing radiant quests, but only Preston's turned into a meme. More annoying though was settlements getting attacked while you were at the opposite end of the map, in survival mode, without fast travel. Or settlers complaining about "the bed situation"...

No, the worst is when a settlement on Far Harbor gets attacked when you are in Nuka-World or vice versa... because there's no chance in hell that you will make that in time.

Rebecca HailImo, ESO can't really be compared to ED. It's part of a huge sucessful franchise, backed by several large studios. Additionally to that, there was the time before ESO went to Zenimax, where the entire game was a huge mess.

I stopped to play ESO after Zenimax made a major screw up and Polish region had German language as a default, unchangeable option. Even Microsoft Tech stated that the game will stay German and you'd need to change region to have different language and not just the language on the console. Was it fixed? I don't know, it hadn't been for a few weeks until I just lost my patience and gave up.

"Utah Monolith," sounds like a United States' version of Stonehenge
