Type-8 is "broken". If use this ship, image on the screen shakes constantly. Some parts (visible plate joints, for example) flicker. No other ship does that so the problem in not on my side.

From your description I guess it is the broken shadows problem, which is probably the most voted unfixed issue at the moment. Type 8’s unusual shape and cockpit placement seem to trigger it a lot.
