Definitely a well polished DLC that can wait for console launch.
Edit: Looks normal after full system reboot.

Ship reboot or PC reboot?
PC. I do not call my ship full system.

SakashiroObsidian Ant says the analytics of his YT channel show a 40% to 50% drop in interest in Elite since Odyssey.
It's only natural that people, who are watching OA; share his opinions; have a similar playstyle are also feeling let down with the dlc.
Ironically, 50-60% still disagreed.

Watch his content doesn't equate to satisfaction in the state of the game. That half are so done with the game that they aren't watching the videos, that's a telling stat.

This whole line of thinking forgets that this evidence is anecdotal at best. Even OA in that post states we can't be sure why the drop off. At best we can conclude that further research is advised, and that if the decline in interest continues, regardless of the reason, OA (and likely other CCs) will stop doing ED videos and this will all become a self-fulfilling prophecy.
It is def not a good sign ofc. I hope FDev interprets it to mean their consumer base is tired of their status quo as it has been for the last 7 years, but I'm not going to bet on anything regarding this whole thing at this point. I take that back: If I was one of their shareholders I'd be selling as best I can because FDev's future, unless a miracle occurs, is not going to meet expectations as it has in the past (not financial advice).

On the contrary; by bundling the premature release out before the end of their financial year, they are projecting revenue of £90 - £95m for FY20/21, up from £76m on the previous year.

Yeah, they also projected a successful ED:O launch....

The herd will buy the games anyway. I mean, remember Blizzard and Blitzchung drama? That went silent and now literally nobody cares.
