EpisparhResistances are shown only for armor which make me think they are constants for shield. I think I have suits with and without that mod but I need someone willing to shoot me to test that. I bet plenty of people will volunteer


Working on an unorthodox build and would still have one mod slot left undecided.

I would assume that is a maverick. Having quieter footsteps I would assume the role is stealth jobs, so my suggestion would be:
  • Improved battery capacity - sneaking takes time and sometimes you may not have a chance to replace battery or recharge at port
  • Backpack capacity - mainly for increased data capacity

Maverick I already have:
Improved Jump Assist
Backpack Capacity
Quieter Footsteps
Increased Sprint Duration

This one I'm working on would actually be an Artemis (Just want to have fun with the jetpack, only drawback on missions would be opening locked lockers)

The battery was never an issue for me and with the higher cap on the Artemis even less.
I would probably go with Backpack.
I was just hoping for something less boring if you know what I mean. But also I don't want something I'll regret wasting that slot with.

Worked out great and is exactly how I imagined it. The jetpack is absolutely great.

Does anyone know how much damage a melee attack does? And if is it affected by held weapons in any way?

I don't know the damage per hit, but I do know you can kill a ship by punching it

Different weapons do have different melee damage. Go to engineer that applies mod "Added melee damage" and check the one you have.

To be fair, our ships are powered by nuclear fusion reactors. You'd think there would be more to it when our ships get destroyed than the relatively small pop that we get.
