Elite roleplay: The docks

THE DOCKS (Dockyards)

The Docks is where all pilots berth their ships. It is the first place that pilots find themselves upon landing their ship. Docking and launching is controlled by the Citi Gateway’s Traffic Controllers while each individual dock is controlled by a dockmaster and a team of orange clad dock crew workers.

The Docks is a sparse and desolate, 0.1G environment, littered with service vehicles, cranes and landing pads. While cool, the air is dry and lightly filled with the smell of burnt metal and ship grease. Public Service Announcements blare across the the docks reminding all pilots of station regulations. The docks contain 45 individual ship docks, several warehouses storing massive tank of hydrogen fuel, and standard shipping containers of cargo, the dock’s traffic control tower and the local pilot’s market which resides in one of the warehouses.

Ship docks
Each specific dock has a landing pad, a ship hangar and adjoining terminal. In each terminal there is a passenger waiting area, the dockmaster’s control tower and several dock crew vehicle bay.

Warehouses
If the docks were already unpopulated, warehouses would be completely vacant of anyone if not for a small handful of security staff. Warehouses are completely automated and highly guarded facilities as they contain massive amounts of valuable and flammable material.
"Loitering is a crime punishable by death" - Station Announcements

Pilot's Market
The pilot’s market is best described as a tourist trap for pilots. Every person who’s not a pilot is trying to guile a pilot to part with their credits.

"The station administrators would like to remind all pilots that transactions in the pilot’s market are not protected by Citi Gateway or The Bank of Zaonce" - station announcements

General Roleplay Etiquette:

1. Control only the actions of your own character(s). (AKA: God Mode)
This doesn't matter how small the action is, even if it is as simple as scratching their nose or a direct reaction to something else that just happened. This applies to everything from casual conversation to full blown fight scenes. If you'd like someone to do something specific, PM that person, however keep in mind they are completely within their rights to say no. Especially if said action is inappropriate to their character and/or circumstance.

2. Don't brute force your way into another persons RP.
Approaching with a conversation starter is fine, or indeed some other small action. However charging in, guns blazing and disrupting the flow of another person/pair/groups conversation/arc is about as rude as doing so in real life. If something is going on that you'd like to participate in, be subtle about it. Put out a gentle hook for someone to take, but again, be aware that said hook may not be taken. If you fear it was simply unnoticed, PM the person or people it concerns. Or even leave a message in the OOC forums.

3. Good grammar and spelling is preferred.
We're not asking you to be perfect, but please at least demonstrate willingness. no1 iz gna tak u srsly usng txt spk. There's a wide variety of people here, many who speak English as a second, or even third language. There are even some with varying degrees of dyslexia and/or likely other issues that affect spelling/grammar. We accept them all here. However, people who aren't accepted, are those unwilling to accept polite correction. Remember that even a small thing like the placement of a comma, or the wrong use of there/their/they're can completely change the definition of an entire sentence.

4. Accept constructive criticism gracefully and politely.
If someone spots an issue with your writings, they may wish to help you improve that writing. They may do this through PM or even publicly air their thoughts on the OOC forum. If they have taken the time to be polite and explain what is wrong with your writing, the best way to behave is to respond in kind, using the same manner they have approached you with. It means they have taken an active interest in what you have written and wish to see more. Basically, you have a fan!

5. Don't take the actions or opinions of things done IN RP, to be directly relevant to the writers thoughts or opinions.
Basically, if some ones character calls your character a jackass, it doesn't mean the writer thinks you are a jackass. It's a ROLE they are PLAYING. Watch a movie. The argument between the characters isn't an argument between the actors involved. The same applies here.

6. It's not a popularity contest.
Your RP might be bustling with participants. You have 3 people off station in a fire fight, while another 2 are infiltrating the darkest areas of the station, meanwhile a group of 4 others are tracking your movements in an effort to stop you. Good for you, I'm sure it will be a thrilling read! But you know what? Sometimes the absolute BEST work, comes from two RP characters having a simple heart to heart. Both are valid, both are great, but NEITHER is categorically better than the other. Period.

Inara RP Etiquette:

1. Respect the setting and rules of the universe.
Inara is an Elite: Dangerous 3rd Party Tool. The RP Forums are set in the Elite: Dangerous universe. Elite: Dangerous has rules, as any fictional universe does from Lord of the Rings to Star Wars, or Game of Thrones to Star Trek. If you intend to RP within the Elite: Dangerous universe you are bound by the history and rules of that universe. Simply put, this RP forum is bound by the same rules as the game, so if it can't be done in the game, it is not permitted here. This applies to things from a 50Ly Jump Range on a normal, unmodified Sidewinder, to the destruction of entire stations.

2. Respect the characters created by others.
We have a wide variety of characters already here. It's expected that some will be similar, just as it's expected that two characters will be vastly different. Opinions of each persons character will naturally be varied, but all are valid provided they follow the rules of the universe. You are allowed to interact with, or avoid interaction with, any character in the RP forums. But you have no right to belittle others for their creation. You are not an authority figure on writing, nor are you directly affected by another persons imagination. You might not like it, but you MUST respect it.

3. Be caught up on current events before joining in.
You need basic things like character descriptions in order to interact with them. You also need to know what's going on in the surrounding areas. This is simply because the people you are hoping to RP with, might be gearing up to something that you might not want to be part of. Or simply that the most recent post, out of context, could leave a different impression on the goings on than if you gather that context. We don't expect you to read every single post from the beginning of the forums, just enough to get that basic understanding.

4. Either subscribe to, or frequently check, the Roleplay: Q&A and OOC forum.
People may be discussing something relevant to you there, or even discussing you directly. Perhaps someone asked what the general consensus on the existence or non-existence of a certain object. Or we're just chatting about random gibberish. Either way, be aware of it and use it. If you're unsure about something, such as how guns would look and or behave, or even the music selection, use the OOC forum to ask. We don't have all of the answers, but the collective knowledge and logic usually allows us to overcome an issue and come to a decision on what should be allowed. Frontier Developments, and even David Braben himself, don't have the answers to every possible question that can be asked.

5. Large Scale events exploding out of nowhere are a complete no go.
We get it. Everyone wants their character to be noticed and for people to be tripping over themselves to interact with them. In some audiences, an introduction involving you blasting in for landing in a fiery wreckage of a ship, before cart wheeling out and sword fighting 35 Ninjas before whisking off with the local celebrity for a glorious night of passion, is in fact, cool. This is not one of those audiences. It is generally considered better to build your character up slowly over time. Eventually, you might even have a legitimate excuse to fight those Ninjas. Maybe even with other RP participants by your side.

6. Perfect characters are boring.
The point of a character arc, is that it is in fact, an arc shape. One who is morally unquestionable, fully kitted out and an infinite fountain of knowledge, cannot go through an arc. Give your character flaws. Be it a tendency towards befriending the wrong people, or a bad knee that frequently gives out at inopportune moments. It gives readers something to latch onto and empathise with. You can give your character exceptional capabilities at something, but it requires balance. She's a damn good pilot with no equal, but can't drive an SRV for peanuts. It can lead to some very interesting moments between characters, be it heartfelt or comedic.

Other Notes:
It should be noted that there can be exceptions to these points. For example, good grammar when a character is speaking is actually rare. Few people in real life actually speak with perfect eloquence after all. Or previously arranged actions during a fight scene, such as someone stumbling back after a punch. What's key to remember is context.

All in all, remember this is purely for fun. We have some seriously talented writers here, and others whose writing history starts and ends at high school. But many are willing to help out in whatever way they can. All it takes is that you ask nicely.

Also keep in mind that many people who RP here, also have logbook stories related to the character, or characters, they portray. If it looks like there's an "in joke" going on that you're unsure of, it's probably in those.

In fact, some users have even gone to the trouble of creating "alts" to RP with. If you read back far enough, it's usually pretty clear who has and hasn't, and which ones are the "alts". It's therefore not unheard of to see the apparent seizing of control of other characters. If you do spot one, point it out in the OOC section. If intervention is needed, it will be sorted quickly and (hopefully) politely.

Most, if not all RP participants here have Logbook stories pertaining to their character(s). These are for the reading pleasure of anyone who wishes to do so. While it can be useful to read them in order to gain a bit of backstory on a character you wish to interact with, it should not be assumed that your character shares that knowledge. Within the E:D Universe, these Logbooks either don't exist, or are private diaries kept by the characters. Either way, without explicit statements to say otherwise from the writer, your interactions should reflect that your character is in the dark about any information you, the writer/reader, have gained from reading the stories.

At the moment there didn't seem to be any missions available, at least not suitable for Nerys' low experience. So she decided to move outside the docks. She was a bit hungry and the small kitchen of the ship was short of supplies. So she walked towards the bar.
25 Apr 2020, 9:25am
Flying from the star to Citi Gateway gave Creamy plenty of time to get ready. This visit, he’d not be arriving with the clothes on his back and just one case of luggage to his name. This time he had enough credits to last him and his extravagant spending habits a few months before he’d have to consider taking another job. After getting docking permission for his new ship, Creamy enquired after Nerys' ship.

“I say control, could you tell me if there is a Diamondback Explorer call the Fairytale docked here?” asked Creamy.

“Sorry sir” Replied the *all business* man on his pads control tower “We can’t relinquish that information. Five hundred meters Knight of Goodness, please lower your landing gear”

Creamy shrugged, it was clear this man wasn’t going to be helpful and Creamy was glad as there was a slim chance the men Creamy had fought with may try to find him by looking for Nerys. Instead he’d wait until he’d docked and use the Gateways internal communication to send her a message.

Once the Krait was on the pad, Creamy got changed into a dark suit and well-polished work boots. Experience had taught Creamy that Citi Gateway could scuff any footwear in moments. With a final check in the mirror, Creamy picked up the gift bag with the pair of boxes inside and disembarked. He quickly found a terminal and typed out a short message to Nerys.

What ho Doctor I’m back on station. I do hope you are well and I invite you for tea and cakes at Misses Fillworth’s tea stall. I’m going to pop over there now for a quick bite.
Kindest Regards
Creamy

With the important message sent, Creamy gave himself a satisfied nod, pick up the gift bag and turned for the Pilots Market.

On the way, he spotted a Federal officer practically marching with defiant determination. She gave the impression that a bulkhead wouldn’t stop her. Creamy’s selective eye for detail when it came to women, saw that a badge was missing from her tunic. He couldn’t help himself; he straightened his back, relaxed his shoulders and called politely to Augusta

“Excuse me madam. I couldn’t help but notice you are missing a .. Medal perhaps, and you give the impression of being somewhat set upon. May I be of assistance to you?”

"You want what? Listen, girl, a class 2D fuel scoop is more than enough for that barge. It is not even engineered enough."

Nerys shook her head. "No, Mr. Sanson. I want at least a 4B. And two AFMUs. One class 4 and a class 3."

The old technician sighed. "You really plan to go into the Void with that ship?"

"Yes. I want to reach Colonia".

"Without a much more powerful FSD, the trip will require at least two months, lass."

"I know. And I will not take the direct route. So please check that the food storage system and the water recycler are ok."

"Ah, so you want to be an explorer. Not the simpler career, miss. A little mistake planning your route, and you'll have to wait for the Fuel Rats... provided that they can reach you in time. A bigger mistake... and you'll drop head-first in a neutron star. You would not be the first one."

"I'll be careful"

"And you will be alone. Do you know what it means? I have been two hundred light years outside the Bubble, for a month. Only two hundreds. And I already felt voices in my head. The Void is not for the faint-hearted".

At that moment, a beep came from Nerys' tablet.

What ho Doctor I’m back on station. I do hope you are well and I invite you for tea and cakes at Misses Fillworth’s tea stall. I’m going to pop over there now for a quick bite.
Kindest Regards
Creamy

Nerys smiled and pressed her thumb on the cash transfer button. "Please install those modules as soon as possible, Mr. Sanson. I need to check how much faint-hearted I really am."
28 Apr 2020, 6:55pm
The Federal officer just walked on as if she wasn’t aware Creamy was talking to her. Creamy considered tapping her on the shoulder, but she did look as if she had a lot on her mind and Federals tended to pick fights with Imperials over misconceptions on this station, so Creamy decided to get on with his business. He had sixty-four tons of fresh produce from Eravate to sell and he wanted to give the few people on Citi Gateway that had been kind to him first dibbs on the sale. All that could wait until he’d had a cup of tea and slice of cake at Misses Fillworth’s.

-----------------------

Vodan thanked the twitchy station rat with a cred stick. The imperial had been here fitting out the new ship he had bought in Almagest. Not surprising really, the San system had some good high-grade tech for sale to Pilots Fed members. Vodan sucked on his new tooth implants. Creamy had kicked in all his front teeth when he made his escape back in Robigo and Vodan didn’t need the bosses’ threats to make him hunt down the Imperial; Vodan wanted bloody revenge anyway.

Luckily for Vodan, Creamy was as free with his mouth as he was with his feet. From the light inquiries he had made, plenty of people had come forward to tell him about the blond imperial that was here a few days ago throwing around credits and chatting to any girl with a pretty face. A change of venue would probably turn up more valuable information. Station scum wasn’t the sort of person Creamy would chat with, but a pretty girl at an expensive club? Now that would be good hunting grounds for information on the self-styled Lothario.

While his boys hung around the outfitters' hangers, Vodan went to buy a new suit and find out where was the place to be on Selous Horizons. With a bit of luck and a hand full of bribes, he’d soon have the name of Creamys’ new ship and that would make finding him much less work.
30 Apr 2020, 4:04pm
Nerys quickly entered her Fairytale, combed her hair and changed her clothes, with a blouse, jacket and proper pants instead of the usual flightsuit. At the last moment she stopped, and by instinct she took the pearl necklace out of the tiny ship strongbox. Yes, why not?

The ship mirror reflected her image. In ten days she had changed a lot. Now she was almost able to keep her eyes up if someone was talking to her. Maybe in a couple of centuries I could even become a real explorer, who knows?

At a good pace, she walked towards the tea stall.
30 Apr 2020, 8:08pm
The tea was perfect and Creamy had to resist the temptation to put his feet up on the chair opposite. Misses Fillworth who was next to blind, could always see someone putting their elbows on the table and would gladly whack his legs with her walking stick if she saw a young man acting like a lay-about.

Creamys’ mind was elsewhere; he was wondering about how best to continue avoiding his home system until he found his missing ship and the heirlooms on board. Returning home would mean taking over the family responsibilities, but going back without his birthright would probably mean being stripped of its title and kicked out of the family.

Somewhere outside the little seating area in front of the tea stall, a man sounded a professional level wolf whistle. Creamy was always ready to be distracted by someone worthy of that sort of hail and stretched his neck to see who was arousing such interest. She may have been dressed casually, but her shining eyes and fiery hair made a person take a second look at Nerys and appreciate how pretty she really is.

Creamy stood up and strode over to the woman that had reconnected him to his ships and a chance to fix his financial embarrassment.

“There you are” Creamy took Nerys' hand and kissed the back of it before standing back to make a show of admiring her “You really are the radiant red star of your own solar system” Said Creamy marveling at the fine decoration on her pearls once more before looking into Nerys’ green eyes for a long moment.

“Oh, forgive me. Are you in the mood for tea and cake?"

Nerys felt some butterflies in her stomach. Of course he was here, of course he was unscratched, and of course he was totally unaware of how worried she had been.

"There is no mood unsuitable for tea and cake" she said with a light smile, trying to appear relaxed, detached, unbiased, and a lot of other "ed" at the same time.

She succeeded for... oh, almost three seconds. Then she hugged him. Hard.

"I was worried for you" Nerys said, regaining a bit of her composure. "Did you manage to shake off those thugs? Any clue about their identity? They didn't look like people to be taken lightly".
30 Apr 2020, 11:46pm
Creamy kindly returned Nerys' hug with a few reassuring pats.

“What a warm greeting Doctor. How very kind of you to worry about me, but I’m a big lad and like a bad penny, I always turn up again what?” said Creamy with a broad smile.

He took Nerys to the table, pulled out the chair, and waited for her to sit before waving for Misses Fillworth.

“All settled then. Now, may I ask you to speak up a little? My ears have been numb for a few days..”

Creamy quickly decided to omit the fact that a gunshot in the back of a van was the reason he couldn’t hear very well and hoped Nerys didn’t pick up on his eyes darting around while he invented a plausible reason.

“It’s all that hanging about the outfitters while my new ship was improved I’d imagine”

Creamy looked over to see how Misses Fillworth was doing mostly to avoid looking at Nerys. Even lying to protect her feelings felt uncomfortable.

“I must admit to you, it was my fault an otherwise wonderful evening in your company was ill-fated. It seems I indulged in many a libation to the god of plenty thanks to joining the Void Opel rush about a year ago, and some rotten sorts talked me into letting them use my mining barge for some heist or other”

Creamy sat back raise both his eyebrows and frowned in an *Oops, silly me* way. Creamy quickly continued before Nerys could worry, or scold him for being a foolish drunkard.

“Naturally, by the next morning, I had forgotten I’d promised my services to a bunch of ne'er-do-wells and set off to wring credits out of rocks. Once they saw me on the station again, they decided to try and recoup their losses by aiming to make me cough up some credits”

Take Nerys' hand and avoid my usual glib carefree tone.

“Now don’t you worry about your reputation at all Doctor. The chap that hurt his leg was up and about feeling fine, and as they are nefarious types, they had no interest in helping Sirius Security with their inquiries so there was practically no investigation at all”

Taking a moment to evaluate Nerys mood, Creamy nudged the gift bag under the table with his foot. He had just glossed over quite a few details, and the Doctor wasn’t stupid. The replacement dress and shoes could be just what was needed to deflect another telling off. The fact that Nerys care for him enough to give him a piece of her mind back on Hauser's Reach did make him feel a little warm inside.
01 May 2020, 10:04pm
"Oh, I am not worried about my reputation. I discovered that here in the frontier, doctors are highly valued. In the last week I spent some evening hours in the Medical Ward as a volunteer, and my effort has been appreciated among the local Practitioners. Meanwhile I am equipping the DBX as an explorer ship, but it will require more time to be ready."

Nerys smiled. "And... don't try to sweeten the pill, Creamy. I am a surgeon and I worked in an ER, so I know very well the effects of an explosive bullet in a knee. I don't think that the chap will walk very soon, at least not without a replacement of the whole articular capsule. I am sorry for him, but it was an emergency situation, and... well, those bullets are illegal."

She took a sip of tea. "The most important thing is that you are safe. Did you manage to end your business in Robigo? Or will you need to return there?"
01 May 2020, 11:19pm
Creamy idly poked a scone around the plate while Nerys took apart his deception but she was gentle about it and thankfully didn’t press him for details.

“I do apologise Doctor, one is in the habit of striving to soften the edges of hard news for the fairer sex. Your quick thinking and capital marksmanship certainly saved me from pitting my skills against unfavorable odds and I am most grateful to you”

Creamy smiled a sly smile and bent down to fetch the gift bag from the floor while he continued talking.

“I did leave Robigo a little early after I learned you were in the clear, but I made enough wedge to furnish me with a new ship and an unreasonable amount of spending cash”

Creamy reappeared above the table rising slowly like a friendly sea creature braking the surface and casually placed the bag on the table.

“Your fathers' ship is safely berthed at ..”

His eyes unfocused and Creamy started biting his bottom lip at the stain of remembering what he had done with the Winder that didn’t belong to him.

“.. Well anyway I wrote it down because knew I’d probably forget that as well” said Creamy focusing on Nerys' face again and pushing the bag towards her.

“I saved it to my slate. Here, I’ll get it for you before I forget” While patting his pockets to find his slate, Creamy remembered that Nerys had asked him a direct question. “Oh, and yes. I’m all done with Robigo thankfully”

Creamy pretended to concentrate on his slate while he watched Nerys peer at the bag in front of her. He’d got her a dress and shoes much like the ones that were ruined on their night out together, but in a style he thought would look amazing on her.

The green silk dress was decorated with Vidavantian Lace and Helvetitj Pearls that would compliment her own pearls beautifully, and the black Damna Carapace shoes with their subdued iridescence should offset the look perfectly. Creamy hoped Nerys liked them as much as Creamy would like to see her in them.

Nerys could see that Creamy was... what, embarrassed? Or at least unease.

Surely it cannot be because of me, she thought. Maybe he really has an hearing problem... Later I'll check him with the portable medscanner.

Then the bag arrived.

"What?"

Her jaw dropped to the floor, while she pulled the dress out of the bag. It was awesome, much more precious than the one ruined on Robigo. And the shoes... they seemed made of mother-of-pearl, except that their reflections were more exotic and shiny.

"Creamy..." she whispered. "Why? It must have cost you a fortune! It's too much, I cannot accept!"
03 May 2020, 11:12pm
“HA!, well you better accept them” Creamy leaned in with a playful smile on his face “They’ll look rubbish on me”

He sat upright in his chair and took on a more serious tone speaking a little louder than needed.

“Listen Doctor, you wouldn’t be in need of a replacement dress and new shoes if I hadn’t used you as a counterweight and then flung you across the concourse”

Creamy felt his eyebrows creep closer together and his lips turn down in an angry frown. The image of those men threatening Nerys made him bristle with anger.

“What’s more, those chaps wouldn’t have shown up and spoiled our evening if I hadn’t flapped my gums acting the big man in front of the pirate types just because I was drunk. The incident was my fault and I chose to show my regret with a gift”

Thinking of Nerys dancing in the new dress the way she had that night quickly brought Creamys’ mind back to a subject he was much more at ease with and he relaxed as a suggestive smile returned to his face.

“Besides, with a dress like that you may very well feel like another night on the town very soon”

He was leaning forward again looking from Nerys’ eyes to her lips for a moment before he turned the conversation back to a casual nature.

“Anyhow, you say you’ve been doing some Freelance physicianing?”

Nerys blushed. "I would like it..." she said "...but..."

“Anyhow, you say you’ve been doing some Freelance physicianing?”

The girl nodded. "Well, yes" she tried to explain. "I..."

For some reason, her tongue was more tangled than a ball of yarn chewed by a cat.

Reset. Reset and restart.

"I have decided to go to Colonia" she said after a deep breath. "Without using the Neutron Highway. I am outfitting the DBX for deep space exploration".

And in the second of silence right after:

"And yes, last week I visited the Medical Ward to replenish the first-aid supplies of the ship, and while I was there... an emergency occurred. A circuit in the docks malfunctioned, and a bulkhead door severed a technician's arm. Well, I offered my help, and we were able to save the man. So they asked me if I wanted to lend a hand. We are exchanging techniques and knowledge and... well, probably I will not able to practice for a while."

Nerys Nymei"I have decided to go to Colonia" she said after a deep breath. "Without using the Neutron Highway. I am outfitting the DBX for deep space exploration"

Creamy sagged a little in his seat and he felt his face freeze keeping his playful smile in place out of politeness, but it may as well have been a rubber mask for all the sincerity it held.

Nerys was still talking, but Creamy couldn’t hear her very well and he wasn’t really listening anyway. He hoped he looked as if he was paying attention and the odd phrase did get to him. She was telling him about some poor chap that lost his arm and she gave him a hand. Usually he would at least laugh about that inside, but it didn’t seem even slightly funny to him right now.

Why did Creamy care at all if Nerys was going on a long trip? He was Lord Love’um and leave’um, king of the one night stand. There was an army of women Creamy wasn’t going to see again and it had never bothered him. Nerys had sat down and talked with him at this very table about a month ago and helped him out of kindness. Creamy had intended to take the lift she offered and seduce her along the way, but instead, he had found himself respecting her wishes and he kept his hands to himself.

Usually, women liked to get close to Creamy because of his looks and his money. He didn’t have any money when he met the Doctor for the first time, and she had shown no more interest in his looks than the odd lingering gaze that most people gave good specimens. She wasn’t just a good time girl either. Oh she was fun to be with, intelligent and entertaining; but she had come to the nightclub to spend an evening with Creamy, not just his money and his bedroom.

Confusion and odd feelings swam round in Creamys’ head. He was so far out to sea with this situation, he felt at risk of getting barnacles on his bum.

Nerys said something about not being able to practice anymore, and Creamy let the *practice with me* innuendo slip by unused. All he could say was…

“Oh. You’re leaving then?”

“Oh. You’re leaving then?”

Nerys nodded. "That's the idea. Not immediately, of course: I need to install some other modules, and they are quite expensive, so I'll do at least another week of grinding buying and selling commodities around here. But yes, I've decided to..."

She poured some tea, looking at some undefined point inside the cup.

"I don't know exactly what I've decided" she said. "One month ago, I only wanted to gain some money and to return to Earth."

Nerys shrugged. "But now..."

Her eyes were fixed on the cup. "I caught myself wondering why I should return there. My father will not return soon, this is for sure. He might as well be dead. He sent me no messages, no explanations at all. And he left me not even the money for a tea. I am a doctor, probably even a good doctor, but now I feel... empty. Useless."

She smiled. "It's like the good old Robert Pirsig. The Zen and the Art of Starship Maintenance. I want to find myself. I want a challenge. And... "

Nerys stopped. "I am really stupid, sorry. I am blabbing like an old gossip, and you are bending your neck trying to hear me."
