Elite roleplay: The docks

THE DOCKS (Dockyards)

The Docks is where all pilots berth their ships. It is the first place that pilots find themselves upon landing their ship. Docking and launching is controlled by the Citi Gateway’s Traffic Controllers while each individual dock is controlled by a dockmaster and a team of orange clad dock crew workers.

The Docks is a sparse and desolate, 0.1G environment, littered with service vehicles, cranes and landing pads. While cool, the air is dry and lightly filled with the smell of burnt metal and ship grease. Public Service Announcements blare across the the docks reminding all pilots of station regulations. The docks contain 45 individual ship docks, several warehouses storing massive tank of hydrogen fuel, and standard shipping containers of cargo, the dock’s traffic control tower and the local pilot’s market which resides in one of the warehouses.

Ship docks
Each specific dock has a landing pad, a ship hangar and adjoining terminal. In each terminal there is a passenger waiting area, the dockmaster’s control tower and several dock crew vehicle bay.

Warehouses
If the docks were already unpopulated, warehouses would be completely vacant of anyone if not for a small handful of security staff. Warehouses are completely automated and highly guarded facilities as they contain massive amounts of valuable and flammable material.
"Loitering is a crime punishable by death" - Station Announcements

Pilot's Market
The pilot’s market is best described as a tourist trap for pilots. Every person who’s not a pilot is trying to guile a pilot to part with their credits.

"The station administrators would like to remind all pilots that transactions in the pilot’s market are not protected by Citi Gateway or The Bank of Zaonce" - station announcements

General Roleplay Etiquette:

1. Control only the actions of your own character(s). (AKA: God Mode)
This doesn't matter how small the action is, even if it is as simple as scratching their nose or a direct reaction to something else that just happened. This applies to everything from casual conversation to full blown fight scenes. If you'd like someone to do something specific, PM that person, however keep in mind they are completely within their rights to say no. Especially if said action is inappropriate to their character and/or circumstance.

2. Don't brute force your way into another persons RP.
Approaching with a conversation starter is fine, or indeed some other small action. However charging in, guns blazing and disrupting the flow of another person/pair/groups conversation/arc is about as rude as doing so in real life. If something is going on that you'd like to participate in, be subtle about it. Put out a gentle hook for someone to take, but again, be aware that said hook may not be taken. If you fear it was simply unnoticed, PM the person or people it concerns. Or even leave a message in the OOC forums.

3. Good grammar and spelling is preferred.
We're not asking you to be perfect, but please at least demonstrate willingness. no1 iz gna tak u srsly usng txt spk. There's a wide variety of people here, many who speak English as a second, or even third language. There are even some with varying degrees of dyslexia and/or likely other issues that affect spelling/grammar. We accept them all here. However, people who aren't accepted, are those unwilling to accept polite correction. Remember that even a small thing like the placement of a comma, or the wrong use of there/their/they're can completely change the definition of an entire sentence.

4. Accept constructive criticism gracefully and politely.
If someone spots an issue with your writings, they may wish to help you improve that writing. They may do this through PM or even publicly air their thoughts on the OOC forum. If they have taken the time to be polite and explain what is wrong with your writing, the best way to behave is to respond in kind, using the same manner they have approached you with. It means they have taken an active interest in what you have written and wish to see more. Basically, you have a fan!

5. Don't take the actions or opinions of things done IN RP, to be directly relevant to the writers thoughts or opinions.
Basically, if some ones character calls your character a jackass, it doesn't mean the writer thinks you are a jackass. It's a ROLE they are PLAYING. Watch a movie. The argument between the characters isn't an argument between the actors involved. The same applies here.

6. It's not a popularity contest.
Your RP might be bustling with participants. You have 3 people off station in a fire fight, while another 2 are infiltrating the darkest areas of the station, meanwhile a group of 4 others are tracking your movements in an effort to stop you. Good for you, I'm sure it will be a thrilling read! But you know what? Sometimes the absolute BEST work, comes from two RP characters having a simple heart to heart. Both are valid, both are great, but NEITHER is categorically better than the other. Period.

Inara RP Etiquette:

1. Respect the setting and rules of the universe.
Inara is an Elite: Dangerous 3rd Party Tool. The RP Forums are set in the Elite: Dangerous universe. Elite: Dangerous has rules, as any fictional universe does from Lord of the Rings to Star Wars, or Game of Thrones to Star Trek. If you intend to RP within the Elite: Dangerous universe you are bound by the history and rules of that universe. Simply put, this RP forum is bound by the same rules as the game, so if it can't be done in the game, it is not permitted here. This applies to things from a 50Ly Jump Range on a normal, unmodified Sidewinder, to the destruction of entire stations.

2. Respect the characters created by others.
We have a wide variety of characters already here. It's expected that some will be similar, just as it's expected that two characters will be vastly different. Opinions of each persons character will naturally be varied, but all are valid provided they follow the rules of the universe. You are allowed to interact with, or avoid interaction with, any character in the RP forums. But you have no right to belittle others for their creation. You are not an authority figure on writing, nor are you directly affected by another persons imagination. You might not like it, but you MUST respect it.

3. Be caught up on current events before joining in.
You need basic things like character descriptions in order to interact with them. You also need to know what's going on in the surrounding areas. This is simply because the people you are hoping to RP with, might be gearing up to something that you might not want to be part of. Or simply that the most recent post, out of context, could leave a different impression on the goings on than if you gather that context. We don't expect you to read every single post from the beginning of the forums, just enough to get that basic understanding.

4. Either subscribe to, or frequently check, the Roleplay: Q&A and OOC forum.
People may be discussing something relevant to you there, or even discussing you directly. Perhaps someone asked what the general consensus on the existence or non-existence of a certain object. Or we're just chatting about random gibberish. Either way, be aware of it and use it. If you're unsure about something, such as how guns would look and or behave, or even the music selection, use the OOC forum to ask. We don't have all of the answers, but the collective knowledge and logic usually allows us to overcome an issue and come to a decision on what should be allowed. Frontier Developments, and even David Braben himself, don't have the answers to every possible question that can be asked.

5. Large Scale events exploding out of nowhere are a complete no go.
We get it. Everyone wants their character to be noticed and for people to be tripping over themselves to interact with them. In some audiences, an introduction involving you blasting in for landing in a fiery wreckage of a ship, before cart wheeling out and sword fighting 35 Ninjas before whisking off with the local celebrity for a glorious night of passion, is in fact, cool. This is not one of those audiences. It is generally considered better to build your character up slowly over time. Eventually, you might even have a legitimate excuse to fight those Ninjas. Maybe even with other RP participants by your side.

6. Perfect characters are boring.
The point of a character arc, is that it is in fact, an arc shape. One who is morally unquestionable, fully kitted out and an infinite fountain of knowledge, cannot go through an arc. Give your character flaws. Be it a tendency towards befriending the wrong people, or a bad knee that frequently gives out at inopportune moments. It gives readers something to latch onto and empathise with. You can give your character exceptional capabilities at something, but it requires balance. She's a damn good pilot with no equal, but can't drive an SRV for peanuts. It can lead to some very interesting moments between characters, be it heartfelt or comedic.

Other Notes:
It should be noted that there can be exceptions to these points. For example, good grammar when a character is speaking is actually rare. Few people in real life actually speak with perfect eloquence after all. Or previously arranged actions during a fight scene, such as someone stumbling back after a punch. What's key to remember is context.

All in all, remember this is purely for fun. We have some seriously talented writers here, and others whose writing history starts and ends at high school. But many are willing to help out in whatever way they can. All it takes is that you ask nicely.

Also keep in mind that many people who RP here, also have logbook stories related to the character, or characters, they portray. If it looks like there's an "in joke" going on that you're unsure of, it's probably in those.

In fact, some users have even gone to the trouble of creating "alts" to RP with. If you read back far enough, it's usually pretty clear who has and hasn't, and which ones are the "alts". It's therefore not unheard of to see the apparent seizing of control of other characters. If you do spot one, point it out in the OOC section. If intervention is needed, it will be sorted quickly and (hopefully) politely.

Most, if not all RP participants here have Logbook stories pertaining to their character(s). These are for the reading pleasure of anyone who wishes to do so. While it can be useful to read them in order to gain a bit of backstory on a character you wish to interact with, it should not be assumed that your character shares that knowledge. Within the E:D Universe, these Logbooks either don't exist, or are private diaries kept by the characters. Either way, without explicit statements to say otherwise from the writer, your interactions should reflect that your character is in the dark about any information you, the writer/reader, have gained from reading the stories.

"An old, stranded ship, huh? The ship we are looking for is a technological masterpiece, designed and constructed with long-term deep space exploration in mind. Built just over forty years ago, it was not only state-of-the-art at the time, but even used experimental auto field-maintenance units to be as autonomous as possible." I shook my head.

"As I said, you don't have to dive deep into obscure networks and data to learn the basics about it. The Zuzara started its journey in April 3270 and vanished into the cosmic abyss only six months later, leaving behind a trail of unanswered questions. About three decades later it has been rediscovered and Galnet Galactic News revealed the ship's final position. So that information is public knowledge, but as you already said, ship's far out…", I paused and thought for a moment.

"…if I'm not mistaken, about 12,000 light years. Why undertake such a long journey into the void, you ask? The Zuzara’s final transmission - and this is not public knowledge - was cryptic, a burst of corrupted data. But one thing is clear, it included some kind of warning. Here, listen to it for yourself." I played the recorded message using the personal computer which was attached to my left shoulder belt.

'This is the Zuzara. We warn all fellow explorers…upon mission complete…Earth-like…worlds…reporting cargo…compromised…turning back…'

"…Obviously the ship never made it back.", I went on, "Though it's entirely possible someone out there is still alive. That's something for you to find out."

I leaned closer to my counterpart. "You see," I continued, "there are those who strive for power, who do everything to secure it, who even manipulate history. And then there are those who seek truth. The kind of truth that burns brighter than any star. I need to know what really happened and I need to find out first-hand from an uncompromised source.
If the resource requirements of the journey itself are a problem for you, I am prepared to provide you with the necessary tritium for your carrier. While we speak, my crew is processing a larger quantity via our black market facility and transferring it into standard containers. In the end, it should look like the standard Torval Mining output, which makes it easier for you to use."
30 Mar 2024, 2:27pm
I raised an eyebrow - skeptical and questioning - at that last remark, and stiffened a little, sitting straigher.

“Uh… thanks. But I will… get my own. Preferably, from somewhere that is not associated to Torval Mining.”

I didn’t know a lot about the Torval mining operations, but I wasn’t fond of the whole slavery deal. And especially not stuff that was coming from a black market.

“I have enough money to afford what I need for the journey. I have a lot from… the war, rescues, and exploring systems with unscanned biological life on planets. It will be fine, and you can keep yours for… your own uses.”

Ones which I wasn’t going to ask about what they were. And I began to have a few more doubts about the kind of individual I was really facing here. Was she really out for the truth, or just a profit seeker who didn’t much care if she had to go into shady deals for it? I leaned forward, looking more serious.

“Why are you really interested in me? And what are those ‘sins’ you mentioned earlier?”

I wasn’t saying it outright, but it seemed fairly evident that any partnership and whether I would actually hand over this information would strongly depend on the answers I received. Or how genuine and forthcoming this woman made herself out.

“And I would like a direct link to that article, so I can read it for myself.”
31 Mar 2024, 8:53am
"Well, whatever you say. If you have any problems with the Torvald branding… it's really only about the container. We can also simply transfer the tritium to another company's containers," I said with a shrug. "But if you generally don't like the way I get my hands on the material, I can understand that too. Just... it's a system where the big corporations get richer and richer and the little guys have to see where they are. I have no problem with some rich moneybags making a little less profit because of what I do.", I paused for a moment, "At least I stand by what I do. You can't accuse me of hiding this from you."

"By the way, here is the Galnet article you requested. I don't trust all the details given, but the ship‘s position has been verified to be correct." By means of a brief interaction with my personal computer, I provided my hostess with the link.

"You asked why I am interested in you… I only surround myself with people who are unaffected by the machinations of governments or companies. People who think for themselves and have their own opinion, even if it is unpopular. I noticed in the bar that you're different from most people because you don't seem to be a supporter of the ongoing Thargoid war. Your personal story also seems to be highly individual. And you invited me to visit you in your ship,", I said with a smile, "where I've enjoyed our conversation so far. I thought we might become something like... friends over time, starting with us pursuing common interests."

"Regarding the sins… Pirate’s Lament was not just a location; it was a crucible that forged me into who I am. I'm a space vagabond. A bit of an adventurer, collector, researcher and... sometimes... an entrepreneur, all rolled into one."

I was about to say 'pirate', but I hadn't missed my hostess's reaction to the mention of the black market. In any case, I considered myself more of a modern-day anarchist anyway. The only thing that didn't quite work out was the equal distribution of the loot, a large part of which admittedly still ended up in my own pockets.

"…On top of that, my crew and I did the odd job here and there as needed. Personally, I don't fight wars. I consider them to be a senseless waste, both in terms of human lives and material, simply to satisfy the needs of some political party. Let politicians fight themselves if they really want to. But I have to confess… I murdered someone. Although the black hearted son of a bitch more than deserved it."

I paused for a moment and turned my gaze to Kasumi, a mischievous gleam in my eyes. "For some reason my pendant got your attention. I'll leave the possibility of finding out why up to you. Here."

In one lightning quick, fluid movement, I removed the pendant from my necklace and threw it to Kasumi. It had not escaped my notice that she had tried to take a closer look at it in the bar. This time the raised lettering SVI: 19 would be clearly recognizable on it.

I could have simply given her the pendant, of course, but this perfectly staged action allowed me to avert her gaze from my other hand, which was now resting on my pistol. You didn't get old in the lawless areas of space if you didn't always expect a surprise.

Now everything was on the table and I was curious to see how my hostess would react. The Black Flight had eyes everywhere, and I had to be sure she wasn't connected to them.

I was about to reply when a pendant began to float through the air and I grabbed it, mindful to avoid any ‘collisions’ with the upper half of my body.

It had already made me suspicious at hand of its apparent lettering, but I’d decided to give things the benefit of a doubt. Yet looking at it now, the immediate instinct that entered my brain as my eyes widened was to throw that coin away, to a far back corner, leaving it to bounce around in low gravity conditions, while putting up a light personal shield - enough to stop a sidearm shot - and keeping the right hand close to the pistol holder on the side of the seat. Very close.

I stared at my “guest” directly with my eyes opened widely, and a look which mixed a variety of emotions… hatred, despising, a little fear… the fact that I hadn’t already pulled out that pistol faster than most humans could react and put a plasma bullet right through that woman’s chest bordered on a miracle. I could maybe survive a bullet in that region. My counterpart, most likely, wouldn’t, if it came to that.

“Give me… one good reason, why I shouldn’t kick you off this ship. Right now.”, I said, with a low, but no less menacing voice.

Somewhere at the back of the cockpit in which the ‘familiar’, cozy atmosphere had now been replaced with tension thick enough to cut through, the Black Flight pendant landed with a light ‘ding’.

The reaction of my hostess was not very surprising. I had expected something similar, which is why my hand already rested on my pistol. I noticed that Kasumi had also moved her hand over hers.

"Looks like a stalemate," I said with a smirk that’s disarmed more dangers than my trusty sidearm.

"Your reaction probably means that you associate something with this pendant… and I somehow doubt that many do. Don't worry about getting rid of me, if it belonged to a friend of yours, I'll leave your ship of my own accord."
31 Mar 2024, 11:00am
“I… do. Very much.”

If there was one word to describe my tone, it would be hateful. Or angered, if not both. Toward Black Flight, Azimuth… what they stood for. And through one simple gesture revealing the remnant of a test subject designation, ‘H-7’, on my right forearm - but not the hand itself, separately covered by a glove - it became evident why, when I pulled back the sleeve of the hoodie which I wore. The mark itself was only visible now as lines where an ink branding once was. After a few seconds, I covered it up again.

“If you work with them, you need to go. And we will never talk again. If you don’t, explain yourself. Now.

That was all which I had to say - for now. And my right hand remained near the pistol.
01 Apr 2024, 1:38pm
"I don't know what that means, but it certainly looks different from the text on the pendant...", I said, nodding in the direction of the exposed arm.

"As to the pendant… some time ago we were conducting a mining operation in the Pleiades and happened to come across a beacon that was sending out strange signals. Our Type-9, which specialises in mining, was then unexpectedly attacked by a black Diamondback and badly damaged. Fortunately, it was equipped with a fighter bay, and after a fierce battle we managed to take out the black ship and capture its pilot from an escape pod after he had already destroyed our first fighter. After interrogation, this pilot stated that the beacon was replaying signals recorded from a crashed Thargoid ship. The rest is history - only a few days later, the Pleiades bore the brunt of a Thargoid incursion that destroyed military fleets, crippled megaships and severely damaged numerous stations, resulting in thousands of human casualties. I then executed the captured pilot and took this pendant from his dead body. I vowed to uncover the machinations of this organisation and to find out why someone had thrown us to the Thargoids."
01 Apr 2024, 1:52pm
Test subject.”

I almost spat out those words, then composed myself a little, but not quite feeling at ease yet, again, I kept my right hand where it was, near the pistol.

“They wanted to use me. For their Thargoid ship link project. I only found out years after, because I was never awake during the time. And they never got to do it. No ship to do it with. But they are responsible for what I am now.”

I certainly was not at the point of revealing any of that Thargoid connection which had actually formed, but not from Azimuth themselves doing it. Certainly not while I was still dubious about if this was a cover story to mask ongoing involvement with Black Flight or not. And I didn’t hide the unease in neither my body language, nor voice.

“If you show people this pendant, without saying, then they will think you are associated or with them. How can I know you are not lying, to me?”
01 Apr 2024, 2:50pm
"How can you even know if someone is lying or not?" I shrugged. "The thing with the test person could also be a lie. Perhaps in the end it comes down to gut feeling."

"If you think about it carefully, you'll realise that it doesn't really make any difference whether I talked about the pendant beforehand or not. An explanatory introduction could just as well be a lie. In fact, the problem is probably the existence of the pendant itself, which raises the question of whether someone from a secret spec ops actually shows their pendant around..."

"At least the element of surprise works for me. It helps me to assess my opponent. At worst, I've lost potential allies so far, but in any case I've weeded out the bad apples. And you'd definitely be the first to shoot me," I say with a broad grin.
01 Apr 2024, 3:02pm
I shook my head.

“I did not lie. The mark I showed is the designation. And I have the logs and location of the facility. A lot more happened because of it, too.”

That was as far as I was willing to go currently.

“And you could be showing the pendant to try convincing me you no longer work with, or never were with them, because you already know who I am. I have reasons to be very careful about them, and showing that to me… if I had less control, I would have pointed it - “ I moved the fingers of the right hand, above the pistol, subtly. “ - at you, already.”

If it’d been me in control, no guarantee this woman would even still be breathing right now., ‘Kira’ remarked in my head.
01 Apr 2024, 4:30pm
"Still, if I was actually working for them, wouldn't it have been much easier not to mention the pendant at all instead of arousing your suspicion in the first place?", I said.

"And I kind of like your train of thought, but you have to admit that logs that you mention but don't want to show don't prove much.", I replied, referring to our previous conversation and the treatment files. "And that's just for the sake of argument. It's not that I want to see them."

"Aside from that... if you were really as important as you seem to imply, and I knew whatever about you and worked for them, I'd probably have invested some resources in this. You know, superior numbers and firepower and all that. Although I do wonder whether a single person can be so important to an organisation that has already condemned thousands to death."

"By the way, I'd like to take this opportunity to point out that violence is rarely a good idea...", I nodded towards both our weapons and the respective hand resting on them. "...I think it's quite possible that you'll kill me, but if both our weapons go off in a confined space, you'll certainly need a whole new cockpit. Probably even a whole new ship, sensitive technology like all those fancy computers just doesn't mix well with brute force," I added.

"So I think we just carry on talking like two civilised people."
01 Apr 2024, 7:46pm
“I didn’t say, that I didn’t want to show those logs. Azimuth are not who gave me the implant I have right now. That… was someone else.”

I didn’t plan on revealing it just yet. But soon. It was necessary to establish an understanding of where we both stood, apparently.

“But if you want to make yourself trustworthy to me, then… prove it. I will start.”

I cautiously removed my right hand from the pistol holder. Then I transmitted the files about Azimuth showing an interest in me as a test subject for Project Seraph, from how a rogue group devised to abduct me by faking the need for a medical checkup shortly after obtaining the pilot’s license, saw me fit as a subject with the potential to replicate what they’d achieved with Seo, and how I was then let go with a mind control chip in place, when Salvation shut down the stray project in preparation for his plans relating to what would, eventually, culminate in the Proteus Wave.

“You have everything. If you wonder about the placement… it wouldn’t fit there.” I pointed to my right thigh, which, even in low G, took up most of the available space in the modified pilot’s seat. “But I wanted quick access, anyway. In case I needed it …”

“And if you want another reason why they think I am important, there is only one more you need.”

With a swift gesture, I pulled the glove off my right hand and presented its back, flat, arm stretched out. The core glyph of the ‘logogram’ which was present on each Interceptor was visible clearly on the white skin.

“If you need to convince yourself, run over it with a finger. It is real. But if you want to understand me, why I hate Azimuth and Black Flight, that is what you need to know about. They are responsible for this.”

I held my arm right where it was, not moving it, slightly leaned forward. It also somewhat highlighted how much of an offset there was between my breast and the remainder of the upper body, but that wasn’t much of a concern here, right now. And my clothes kept everything decently covered up, too.
02 Apr 2024, 7:25pm
"I won't pretend to fully grasp the depth of your hatred for Azimuth and Black Flight, or the complexity of the events that have led you to this moment, nor how Azimuth could be responsible for that Glyph. We've all got our own stories, our own reasons for being where and who we are. But I don't need to run my finger over the glyph to believe you - it's enough for me to see the conviction in your eyes.", I said as I slowly withdrew my hand from my own weapon.

"The fact that you've chosen to share such personal details with me is not something I take lightly. It's clear you've been through trials that would break many, yet here you are, still standing, still fighting. That's something I can understand, something I can respect."

"In return, you will now receive logs recounting main events in my life."

I then forwarded records and other data that told of a space carrier and the people on board acting more like a family than a ship's crew, surviving and maintaining their independence in the lawless fringes of the bubble. The information showed how they stole from rich companies in daring actions and shared the loot with others who were less fortunate. They showed how this community sifted through old logs from abandoned ships, settlements and ancient ruins, piecing together fragments, infiltrating organizations and uncovering more secrets with every scrap of information or technology they could get their hands on, fueled by obsession and the lure of the unknown, especially the mystery of Raxxla. And while they were neither deeply involved nor interested in the current politics of the powers in the bubble, the records ultimately showed how this community fought against the Black Flight when its machinations threatened their home and the people of the Pleiades, and how they began to uncover the schemes and lies of politicians and big corporations.

"You'll probably analyze it all, but to cut a long story short: it's all about charm, cunning and a pinch of audacity. You should never forget that we're dancing under starlight here, which makes for a very impressive stage.", I grinned.
02 Apr 2024, 7:49pm
I just… looked without much of an expression for a few seconds, then shrugged very lightly.

“I… don’t know what to do with this. Your… background.”

All it proved - to me, in this moment - was that this maybe wasn’t simply a bog-standard pirate looking to alleviate traders of some cargo purely for their own gain.

“Or why you keep talking about ‘dancing’. I don’t understand it.”

“And the story of why I am… what I am, now, is… very complicated. And maybe not for now.”

Partly because I wasn’t interested in going into the details yet. I breathed deeply. And, seeing as the ‘Maybe we should both be ready to grab a weapon’ impulses were out the door now, I remembered to turn off the personal shield.

“But I will do whatever I can to destroy Azimuth, and Black Flight. They have killed too many, and put too many in danger… even if they had not ruined my own life. I am now left with… trying to rebuild, and figure myself out, while I recover. But the purpose I thought I saw for myself …”

I looked out of the cockpit window.

“With the Titans, now, it does not… seem possible. So maybe that is why I am looking to find more about the ‘Zurara’. It feels a lot like there is… a deeper connection, for why it is out there. I want to know what it is.”

“And… maybe part of me recovering is also learning what to focus on. Or how to speak properly again, like an adult. And how not to …” I threw a sneaky apologetic look at the other woman. “… not bump into people with my big hips.”

"You carry a heavy burden," I said softly, my voice only audible because of the silence in the cockpit of the ship. "The past has a way of shaping us, twisting us into forms we never expected. But it doesn’t define us. Not completely."

"As for my background... I have no idea. I certainly didn't assume that you would suddenly start reverently worshipping the ground I walk on.", I said mockingly. "But I think it makes it clear that I don't work for any company."

I leaned back, relaxing against the seat, considering the words I just heard about Azimuth and the Black Flight. "You’ve got a fire in you, that’s clear. A fire to right wrongs... looks like we are on the same page here." I paused, a thoughtful frown creasing my brow. "But I'm not sure what purpose you saw for yourself in connection with the Titans. And this 'Zurara'... that sounds indeed like far more than just a ship, but again, I'm not sure how that might relate to you."

"About dancing under the stars... this is poetry in words! Let those without intellect and passion use boring and purely fact-orientated language.", I shrugged.
