Well as Luke said it's just a specific implant to stop menstruation so like in the case of long missions they don't have to think about - tending to the cycles

Ehh, No... It wasn't a tampon... Lets say the abbreviation somehow reminded me of a certain, very effective, "reversable" anticonceptive that basically just did its job by tearing the business apart on a biological level, wich commonly just made the user plain infertile for the rest of their lives...
Ofcourse I'd hope that after approximately 800 years some health and safety deparment filed something against "unwanted cheeki-breeki in babymaking area" and it got pulled of the shelves...
