Elite roleplay: Q&A and OOC

I'd echo everything that Stryker and Luke said, and also strongly recommend Nova's suggestion to use the Inara discord channel for instant (more or less) answers.

Take care out there.

I'll have time this weekend for that, if anyone is interested.

What is a LARC Implant? It's the first time I'm hearing about it.

I'lll uhh get back to you on that I think I may have missed a blunder

Alright so LARC (Long-acting reversible contraception) is basically just contraceptive implants for birth control or stopping menstruation altogether.

(I thought I wrote it wrong so had to double-check)

Oh, ok. It's not something I ever heard of so don't worry, it's my end not yours that caused confusion.

Cheers

What do you think they are?

(Cause I don't actually know)

It's just a simple cybernetic inhibitor that prevents the production of the hormones that relate to reproduction.

It's not a tampon. Those aren't long-acting...

Ahh that's what he meant haha.

Well as Luke said it's just a specific implant to stop menstruation so like in the case of long missions they don't have to think about - tending to the cycles

I think that's what he meant anyway. Not 100% certain, but no Jem, I had no idea it was a real thing lol. Cheers for that

Everyone knows that all these so called 'scientific' advances are made through our lord and saviour Cthulu!!!

Ehh, No... It wasn't a tampon... Lets say the abbreviation somehow reminded me of a certain, very effective, "reversable" anticonceptive that basically just did its job by tearing the business apart on a biological level, wich commonly just made the user plain infertile for the rest of their lives...

Ofcourse I'd hope that after approximately 800 years some health and safety deparment filed something against "unwanted cheeki-breeki in babymaking area" and it got pulled of the shelves...

I'd hope...
