M. LehmanGreat list, Luke! Lots of good advice there.

Aye, good stuff my friend.

Personally I'd say having a direct "Rules" Thingy sounds like a good idea to prevent exactly this, or create a clear scetch of when the other roleplayers are within their right to ignore or take action against certain behaviour.

Also I'd say "respect the universe" belongs more as a rule, if those are going to be a thing, rather than an etiquette.

Claiming that remlocks suits have servo's and electronics that, when hacked, are capable of freezing the suit and the user in it or electrocuting him / her, (Even though remlock suit's likely have no electronics what-so-ever inside them to prevent that exact problem) only to then proceed to have the station invaded by pirates wich you then kill off with aids from a cloaking device, (even though stations are heavily fortified and secured, and no player controllable ship, or in-game group can ever stand a chance in taking one on, and cloacking devices simply do not exist in the elite universe) isn't just rude or undesired.

It's simply a no-go that will likely result to other roleplayers completely ignoring your posts, because it's simply just redicoulous.

Looking at you, Benevolant...

And yeah, great idea, Luke! Since this place seems to be growing it might be getting harder in the future to get away with not having a clearly specified set of rules, and / or guidelines.

Cheers Phisto

Yeah Comrie, that's why I wrote it up. Don't get me wrong, I can sympathise with Benevolents wish to spice things up, especially with the low level of activity that's currently going on. But I have no interest in singling anyone out. It would be a tad hypocritical of me to do so given that I, myself, have broken one or two of these guidelines
Thanks for the support

Oh yes. FD should create limpet delivery limpets so someone can create an equivalent service to the Fuel Rats.

TRU DAT ut it would be cargo transfer limpits, or just drop the cargo
15 May 2017, 10:42am
Huh.

That moment you stalk a miner carrying Low Temp Diamonds for several systems, interdict him and then find out you've got no limpets...

Think Limpet-Rats would help me too?

Need me to come pick 'em up for you?

I think "All of it" is reasonable.

Everything's reasonable when pirates are doing the reasoning...

"oh hey, I like your ship, now, if you dont wanna make that ship a rebuy back where you started off, I suggest you gimmie ALL of your cargo... NOW"

how to pirate

make sure you do this in a unlikely vessle, if they fight back and you woop their ass, they'll make sure not to mess with you

also, aim for that cargo hatch, they may have hull, but i doubt they have module reinforcements

They should be non-judgemental. There is far too much judging and quite enough mental in Elite thank you.
