Elite roleplay: Q&A and OOC

RP communities are famously cliquish but the street runs both ways.  Whenever I enter a new group I never expect them to cater to me in any way for a long while.  Just how human groups work, yah know?

I am not in a Hive.

You do not know me or my type.

When have I ever not been nice?

I have removed everything related from the RP:Banter. The rules are simple - everything in Roleplay threads should be roleplay except this thread, which is clearly marked as OOC. Anything else has no place there. There is even allowed, to some extent, attack other characters (but not people behind it!) if it has some rationale, extends narrative of another roleplay in other RP threads, etc. But once again, attacking other posters and masking it as RP (although it isn't) is not allowed there as well (which is valid for all discussions, RP or not).

Enjoyed that unexpected twisty tale Lova and Isaiah.

Anyone know where they keep the security cam files for the Grove's rooms?! lol

Thank you, Bolasie.

There are no cams in the bedrooms. You'll just have to use your imagination.

I think she meant punches and kicks.

Anyone else find it interesting that Nova Imperium used to be a Wing/Squadron on INARA?

New Empire is a fairly generic sort of idea, to be honest.

I just thought it interesting Frontier would use a defunct wing as part of their storyboards. It makes it look like they are advertising for the player group.

People wanted to join the group murdering Ageis family members, but there wasn't a way for them to join.

This kinda looks like players can join the wing and be apart of Frontier's story.

That's... giving a lot of credit to FDEV about involving players in their narratives.
12 Nov 2018, 7:16pm
That's my point. I didn't believe FDev involved characters in their narratives. But someone new (or maybe someone old) to the game might think differently because of how this looks.

And that's kinda why I think it's giving FDEV too much credit. They slashed all player-submitted Galnet articles and have pretty much taken the reins on the direction of the story. Involving a player group from out of the blue like this would be welcome, but problematic. It would introduce an uncontrollable variable to a story that so far has been under a strict set of rules and timeline.

Like the 'Harry Potter and the ruined Storyline' issue? That was my favourite one, but that one didn't get a movie LOL

That's a joke before you all get upset!
