I know I'm new but I'm with Luke on this. He's trying to make something work here...alittle More support from fellow members would nice, more constructive criticism and less whining about it. What he's doing has no effect on your gaming or your real world challenge's so why not just encourage instead of tear down and make him feel like crap. Just my thoughts on the subject.

If it's any consolation, an idea I had was that a bug in a universal software update caused the ships navcom to take the space opened up from the removal of exclusion zones for landable planets, was being taken into account during witchspace transitions and that this was a major factor in the lengthier witchspace transitions.

Again, not hugely elegant, and probably far from suitable, but you weren't the only one thinking along those lines.

With regards to this, the intention is good and the gesture, appreciated. But unnecessary. My silence is due to mulling things over atm and decided on the appropriate course to take.

I'm going to suggest something similar to Phisto... People have bad days. Tracks (IRL) have times when they're not set up quite right for a race, weather sets in, etc. Maybe there was just a string of bad times because coincidence. One guy makes a mistake, the next one hears about it, and in focusing hard on trying not to make it, makes it. The third? He avoids it, but his attention is taken from something else he messes up. Strings of bad luck happen, and not just to single people. Drop the tech out of it, people are fallible, play it up.
