The bar is usually the best place to start off, however it can frequently be quiet. For now, I believe myself and Cartlidge are the only two people RPing there at the moment.

If there is no one around, I have a generic character I'm happy to pull out whenever things are quiet, so if no one is taking the bait, just hit me up. =)

ScaaramoucheHello RP QA Board. If one wanted to start roleplaying, which board is more friendly to newcomers? The Galactic Bar? The Docks? Just curious.


If you want to go story line, Might be best to start in from the docks, make your way to the bar. Though, it doesn't really matter how you start so long as you're not going to lob a grenade or try to put the station in lockdown. In that case, most of the RP community will just ignore you.

Otherwise, jump in, and welcome.

Just to add on to what Stryker said, I find a good rule to follow is that if your post is going to consist of simply, "(Character Name) stepped off his/her/its ship and went up the elevator to the head to the bar, there's no reason you can't skip it and simply have your character arrive at the bar.

Basically, if the post is uninteresting, feel free to skip it.

So with the increasing number of alt's running around, I decided for the sake of transparency that I am going to list mine out so we all know who they belong to.

Mara Dúlain (fake identity Erinia got given some time in the past. Only exists in one of my logbooks so far, but might be taken out as real character someday. If that name is already claimed, or you wish to use it please contact me and we can work something out)

That's a good move Stryker, a bit of transparency is a great example to set!

I've made it clear on the Bios of my alts (Idris and Apollonia) who owns them and that they are for RP only.

Having alt accounts made visible on our public profiles would be great! (Hint. Artie. Hint)

(Should have posted this as Stryker, not going to fix it) I could add links between the bios, that too would clear up any alt confusion.

I currently have two alts, Suki Hai and Monagh Mallone. As with Marra's alts, both mine state clearly on their profile pages that they belong to me and are created purely for RP purposes only. I think this is all that's needed to avoid misunderstandings.

So, unless Suki or Monagh somehow acquire sentience, neither of them will be making an appearance on Discord!

Might I suggest posting who your alts are on your main account? Not to avoid misunderstanding, but simply to satisfy some of our curiosities.

Mine are declared on my main and on the alt accounts themselves - couldn't be more open about it.
