If memory serves me correctly, some time back, there was an IC banter between Kyla Emerson and Jeminine Caeser in the introductions board. This created much confusion in the none RP community as it was out of place and some took it quite personally. The RP community put thier heads together and decided a separate thread was needed for just that. Banter.
Simon Dentura put forth the request to Artie for such a board.
He is in fact, the father of the Roleplay: Banter discussion and as such, knows exactly what it is for.

So basically be careful what your characters say there, you might burn bridges. Or it could lead to an interesting occurence like the inevitable head kicking Kyla will probably give Luke if our characters cross paths =P

Simon DaturaStryker's memory is on-point. I requested RP: Banter to be implemented so we have a spot where we can just generally chit-chat in character in a spot that doesn't spill over to the other boards.
Before when I opened my big mouth, it actually wasn't directed at you sir, so my apologies if it came off that way.

If you look in the Logbook section and start writing one, there's a drop-down menu at the bottom of the text box that allows you to select what the Logbook is. There's not a huge amount of options but one of them is "Character Biography".
