i am actualy fully awere, i was just being a smart ass XD, ive roleplayed in chats for a long while now, i havent realy done forum RP though, more used to instant replys

I prefer forum-based RP; it gives you time to check your spelling and punctuation.

I'm the opposite, I've been RPing in forums for years, never in instant messages though, at least not seriously. (and my spelling and punctuation still sucks)

I used to RP in WoW a lot, so RPing over a forum still feels strange to me.

In an MMO, not at all. Flows pretty naturally. It's also good practice for learning to type quickly and thinking on your feet.

I guess its up to personal prefrence really, in ED i would RP but with the lack of a keyboard i have to use the xbox text inserter

(though, im quite fast still)

I've always found RPing in an MMO a tad bit easier for the sake of being able to have a more physical representation of what is happening. (Player characters, player housing, etc). My time in SWG were usually spent in a player decorated cantina, which was very entertaining.

That said, it's a lot easier to fit in just as much detail in a forum post.
