Marra, thanks for the heads-up on Character bio's — I'd never even noticed! Started one for the Tiggster, although I think I'll need to ponder somewhat on the history (Tigon has usually been a Dwarf Tank in whatever he's been used).

It feels more like a hybrid of OOC and one of the other more traditional rooms. Maybe that's not its intent, but that could be more clearly outlined. As far as I have assumed it's felt like an OOC for my character. 'Banter' or back and forth that doesn't really exist in the arcs going on as rigidly.
Phisto has been in a bar, eating fried food, etc for instance when he obviously wasn't in ingaba. In the meantime his character has been running around the docks, or been in two places at once essentially- along with many other RP'ers.
I'd love more clarity on it to be honest- but for now in my mind it seems to sit in a different reality exterior to the constants of the other rooms.
Thoughts?

It was created for us to have a spot where we could badger on in character so it doesn't spill over into places like OOC and introductions where a few people would have IC exchanges and arguments that may otherwise be interpreted as actual drama.
At least now if there is a spat, it will be interpreted for what it is: two fictional characters having a fued.

John MathurinIf it helps, I've viewed it more as like an IC message board/chat function our characters have access to aboard their ships. It's also felt more like a "soft IC" area, where things aren't necessarily canon.
On this note, I always imagined it as the futuristic equivalent to a CB radio. I mean, some of us really are space truckers after all.

Just making observations based on previous opinions and extrapolations as to it's intended use and trying to be a team player/not ruin other people's time by operating exterior to its current implication. Respect for others essentially. Considering there is no description, no one really 'gets' it better than anyone else. All pretty conjecture at this point.
