First of all thank you for wanting to join in the RP at The Olive Grove.
I must point out that the conversation you say your character is witnessing is actually taking place in a private office. This was clearly stated in an earlier post. You may wish to edit your post accordingly.

My Commander is on the way back from doing a little exploring up to Eagle's Landing 7000ly's away... He's on his way back right now so he'd be no help right now...

Kurama, what I think people are trying to say is that we're happy to help you with the presentation of your writing. If you focus on improving things like sentence structure and grammar, I predict you'll find that people will be far more willing to interact with your character.
I don't know how old you are, or if you have any RL disabilities, or if you're not a native English speaker- but most people here are willing to make allowances for things like that. If you're going to participate in a forum where people interact via written communication, the quality of your writing is a part of the way that people view you. It might not be totally fair, but it's an inescapable fact- not only here on Inara, but in every facet of RL human interaction.
