Elite roleplay: Q&A and OOC

Isaiah EvansonAnd that's kinda why I think it's giving FDEV too much credit. They slashed all player-submitted Galnet articles and have pretty much taken the reins on the direction of the story. Involving a player group from out of the blue like this would be welcome, but problematic. It would introduce an uncontrollable variable to a story that so far has been under a strict set of rules and timeline.

So you're saying this is just a weird coincidence. A story written without much research to insure the sanctity of their own rules.

Like the 'Harry Potter and the ruined Storyline' issue? That was my favourite one, but that one didn't get a movie LOL

That's a joke before you all get upset!i

Wasn't ruined. Was left up to players to decide, and they did. As it should have been.

Again, the name Nova Imperium is... interesting but still fairly generic. Unless there's a wing that has been active and around for a while pushing the kind of ideology the in game Galnet stories have been alleging. I think it's a coincidence.

Coincidence? Yes. Without much research? I disagree. Nothing on Inara is canon, why would they research it? The Dark Wheel is a faction and player group, but they're not what the stories are based on, they're based on the stories.

I’m pretty convinced FDEV follows Inara Things pretty closely. What they do with the information I couldn’t say for sure... but you only experience so many coincidences before you realize they’re not.

Heck, I’ve got three examples of NPCs showing up only after significant events in Things. Mind playing tricks on me? Maybe. But I dunno.

I've encountered an NPC named "Kyndi". Had a nice chuckle over it.

Well it will be interesting to follow. I've seen players desperate to have an in-game player faction take over dead ones before. I wouldn't be surprised if Nova Imperium is mysteriously resurrected in the near future.

Pepper, or anyone. What can be deemed reasonable for a med kit? Thinking not enough to completely patch up Heathen?

medical kits generally consist of bandages,  astringent, given the corresponding kit is made up of basic things that exist in 3304.  not enough to completely patch up heathen but enough that it could more then save her life if she is dying.

I hope that helps and is not overstepping anything

RP ain't shit if people don't interact. You interacted, I can use it to reveal further detail, thanks
