My actual username was going to be 'Concessionary Public Transport Travel Ticket for UK Residents Over Pensionable Age'.

I swiftly tired of typing this every time I logged in.

So I shortened it to 'Tram Pass'.

Hey, I'm only fluent in 1 language... 'Murican. Any other & I have to resort to a Translator.

I'm working on adding Welsh, but it's slow going. I could really use some immersion, but time & $RL is the limiting factor.

You do quite well & unless I knew better, I'd never been able to guess. If I ever heard you speak, I'd note any accent though & my curiosity would prompt me asking from where you came. I find chatting with others from around the world fascinating.

After reading the role play threads on here for the last 6 months or so I finally decided to create a role play character. Changed my name and added a new background bio. I will probably change my commander image in the next week or two. This will be my first attempt at role playing online so looking for constructive criticism. Congratulations & Welcome to our RP community! While I think myself less qualified to give a Welcome, there are others who've posted both more recently & often than I, & exploring the RPs & stories here might offer some tips & ideas.

There's also the RP Guidelines at the top of each section.

Hey and welcome to RP

The one tip I usually give is to start with writing a few log entries, this helps you flesh out your character's personality and how he reacts to certain influences (like when being shot at in a showdown: does he look for existing cover and take dive behind it or does he prefer to create his own by flipping a table?) which down the line makes it more natural for you to write as your character.

I will likely be answering to both depending on who I meet as I move through the timeline. “Thor” is Max’s nickname he earned while a member of the Federal Navy. This is based primarily on his last name along with his genetic makeup (his parents will likely be from a hi-g planet). I’ve got a lot of ideas...Demons from his upbringing...military stories including ptsd and old injuries...plus exploring where he actually came from.
